Got a message:

"PAYDAY Loan MSG- Need a payday loan or tax refund loan? [STATUS*Approved*] Fill out the form @ 3xLoansToday.com & receive loan for 3x your paycheck today."

I just got a text from this number....need to go to the do not call list I guess...I HATE SPAMMERS

Got a text from them today trying to buy junk cars and trucks.

I also got a text message for this. Does anyone know how they got our #'s?

go to your cellphone companys website and block the number AND also click on block website spamm and you can block all texts from website. i just did this with verizon.
have reported them every time to do not call list, explaining is text. have spammed us from 4 different numbers so far.
hope blocking website text with verizon works.

I received a text from this number on my cell regarding buying junk cars.  I don't have texting in my plan and this is going to cost me.

Beware the I-want-a-loan posts may be scammer shills. This may be a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, insurance, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number,  or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. Call my house phone with this BULLS***,but don't call my cell phone. I get text messages everyday from them even after sending back a text "STOP". May they all get crabs.

You know, It's bad enough when these jerks call your house phone.  And it really gets me going when they call my cell.   But why in the world would they leave a text on my MI-FI.  That's almost too funny too get mad about.  May they rot in the grave.
