this guy called abt 10 times and has a weird accent,doesnt speak english properly, i can bearly understand him, he must be kinda freak.

The guy calls fairly often and says different things each time. Most recently he says he is from "the pharmacy" wanting to ship me illegal meds. Always gets very demanding and wants my address and C.C. number. It feels like an Identity theft scam.

Just got a call from this number. Talking about the police, then directed me to some UK operator.

These people call me all the time from different numbers - just got a call today - Indian accent his name is Sam Peterson....right.  Tries to get me to verify my social security number.  I hang up, he calls back.

I receive at least one call per day from 317-829-2521.  The ID reads INTL NUMBER.   I do not answer unknown calls.

my parents got a call from 317-829-2521 and the people have been cursing out my parents. This happen 02/28/2009 and 03/01/2009. I have put in a complaint about this number.

I recieved a call from an unknown number and an Asian man told me that he worked for the IRS and wanted to send me 5000. I informed him I did not want the money and I was not going to give him any information and he said "I already know everything about you". He preceeded to tell me my birthday, address and of course he knew my phone number. When I told him I would not give him any information he became vvery angry and cussed me and my roommate out.  He later called back from the 317 number and has not stopped calling ever since.  He calls about 10 times a day just to talk.

They called me yesterday at least 6 times and they have my social security number, my parent's names - EVERYTHING!  BEWARE!  I am filing a police report immediately - these people are dangerous.

My parents moved to south Africa, and they use skype to call me. This number came up today when they called. 317 is my area code, so maybe this is some glitch in caller I.d. with international calls.

This is strange. I am *visiting* the US, and this number called my *ROAMING* mobile phone twice, once two days ago and once today. I fell onto this page searching for the number on google. Trying numbers randomly is impossible, this guy has access to the telecoms' files about roaming number, otherwise how did he find out my number? He has probably hacked into some operator's system. I tried calling back and of course it seemed to be busy or something.

Same yellow page deal for me. They call four to nine times a day. WHY? Most of the time they just hang up when you say hello. The number cannot be blocked by ATT screening service...just great.

I just received ANOTHER call from this phone number.  This time someone actually answered and said they were from Yellow Pages asking about my free listing.  I told them to never call me again, and she hung up on me.  It was an Indian sounding accent.

I reversed searched the 317-829-2521 number. It was found to be Unpublished or Unavailable. The service provider was identified (Cypress Communications, Inc.) and contacted. They checked their call records and advised that the number did not make the call? and that it is a billing number not assigned to anyone? the caller ID was probably spoofed (common with hackers). This is why the number is either not in service or busy if you call it back.

The reason you received this call is because your phone number was given when someone ordered pharmaceutials online (probably you, or someone you know) at some time in the past.

The online pharmacies sell your number over and over and have different telemarketers call you to "refill" your prescription. There was no prescription to begin with and all the medicines are either generic or counterfeit. The telemarketing firms don't comply with Do Not Call Lists because they are of foreign origin and they will either block or spoof their CallerID number.

This is what you get for attempting to save money by ordering drugs online. You were suckered into thinking that they really were FDA approved. Nope! 100% generic and counterfeit drugs is what you got. And your number got sold and distributed to telemarketers that will never stop calling to try to get you to order more junk.

There are very few real online pharmacies. They will be VIPPS certified. Look it up.

Called 317-829-2521 A middle eastern man called trying to get a western union, money gram, money order sent to him , he said he was a pet shippinh agency trying to get money to send a pet from canada to the us , Indiana, big scam through Kijiji.

9.2008 middle eastern sounding man named himself Mr. Johnson called and left a msg at our house saying he wanted us to call him about collecting on a lottery winning of over 52 thousand that they had previously sent a letter in the mail about. He was trying to have us Western Union $2900 first to cover taxes before you cash the check. Oh yes, by the way, they did send an actual check (has Bama Logistics, Inc. on the check) that we passed along to the Better Business Bureau.
The number he left for me to call him back was 876.840.4262 but the number he called from was 829.2521

3 calls back to bcak, first was unknown, the second was 317-829-2521 and the third was 535-362-13.... missing last 2 didgits, never picked up but sounds from other posts like this is trouble... i have a 317 number myself so even a little weirder, it is an indianapolis area code.

317-829-2521 calls my cell phone daily.  I answered today and a foreign lady tried to get my credit card info to purchase Xanax.  I hung up fast!

I get a call from this same number everyday, they usually don't speak but once it was a guy wanting my credit card info. He sounded american, so be careful

This call came from a local area but listed on my caller ID as "Intl. Number." He spoke in a very low tone and there was a lot of background noise. He asked for "Steve"- Steve is the owner of the company. I said he was not in and the guy hung up on me immediately!! Tried calling the number back but it only comes up busy...

Just seconds before I got the call from the 317 number I got the exact same scenerio-no message, not able to call back from a very very strange looking number.  Not sure if this is related or not.  It was 506-227-13489.  Yes, I know, there's an extra number....?????

Someone from 317-829-2521 and they didn't leave a message.  Number not listed and when you try to call back is says number not in service.

Update:  It appears this number is http://www.prankdialer.com.  Or at least one of the numbers they use anyways (it was in my area code which seems like too big of a coincidence)
