I live in Florida, and I have never been to Indiana.  Somehow they have my number because I get at least 4 calls a week from #'s 317-937-3107 and 317-937-3103.  I'm about to get AT&T to block the calls.

I wouldn't mind if they called and spoke, but why hang up or be silent? If they are college kids trying to raise money, then talk or ask for the money! Here's what we found on another site so I'm doing it next time I can "catch them". How frustrating that we have to do this in our own home.
I gave my "2 weeks notice" with this company. Here's what you all need to KNOW. THEY ARE CALLING FROM COLLEGES. THEY ARE USING THEIR REAL NAMES. THEY ARE NOT LEGALLY TELEMARKETERS, SO IT WON'T HELP TO BE ON THE "DO NOT CALL" LIST. They are not commissioned telemarketers; they are minimum-waged college students who want to be talking to you as little as you want to be talking to them. ====== And here's what you need to DO: ====== HANGING UP IS THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO--THEY WILL KEEP CALLING BACK BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO "COMPLETE" THE CALL FOR EACH ROUND OF FUNDRAISING. SAY THIS, VERBATIM: "REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST--PHONE AND MAIL." If you ONLY request that they "do not call," they will take you off their list for 4 years, then start calling again. They will ask you 4x for 4 different amounts of money. Do not just say "no" or they will call back next round of fundraising. Say REMOVE FROM LIST like I said. If you don't, you will be getting 2+ rounds of calling and 2+ rounds of mailing +email solicitation for the rest of your life.

I highly doubt this is only related to Butler University or any specific organization.

Additionally the above comment about "burning minutes" needs to use some common sense before posting nonsense.

I believe "Ruffalo Cody" is a Butler alumni fundraising campaign.

I believe it to be a cell company forcing customers to burn minutes. Either by answering or calling back trying to figure it out. Take one mintue times 100's of thousands of customers and they can easily consume non billable minutes to billable.

I have received 15 calls from this number and others close to it, all of them showing "Ruffalo Cody" as the caller id name. They have never left a message.

Agree.  I have not picked up the phone anytime a 317 area code calls me.  I have gotten 12 calls from this number as well as 317-937-3119,317-937-3100,317-937-3100,317-937-3113,and 317-937-3120.  They are persistant as something.  I know they're not bill collectors because I have excellent credit.  I wish there was some way to get back at them.

Same with us. This is very annoying.

I've gotten 4 phonecall from this number and have no clue who it is. When I call back it is a busy signal. If I answer ther is no one on the other line.
