Really annoying call I have been receiving for a couple days now. A beep, than, "Good bye." is all that ever happens. I would like the number to stop calling me and leave me the hell alone.

Guy representing GE security.  Irritating dude as well.  I buy my security system stuff from reputable companies.

Nothing like all of that has happened to me i picked up the phone and i said hello twice and she said Goodbye,a female vioce did

I just recieved a call from this number, the guy stated he was eric from GE Security i stated i was not interested he then called me an ignorant F**K and hung up. I called the number back and got an answering machine.

Keep getting same call, representing a security company.  Wants to talk to home owners regarding some type of security system, for FREE.  Although I own my home, tell them I am a renter, they quickly hang up.

Called and when I answered no one spoke but suddenly a woman said goodbye and hung up....creepy!

Got a call this morning and didn't recognize the number, got suspicious when they stated it was St. Landry, as that's a different area code (337) than the caller ID said (318).  Asked if I had a security system, I said yes I have an AR-15 and 2 Glocks, I'm on the do not call list too.  Idiot hung up.

This number 318-405-1340 called and I would like to know who it is???

I received several calls from this number.  I don't answer if I don't recognize the number or if it does not show a name.  My thought is that if they want to speak to me and know me they won't mind having their name show up on my caller id.  

I can't believe this would be GE security calling that often.  I would love to know who it is.

yes, they call to see if you have security in your home, then come rob you

I keep receiving calls from this number and if you try to call back to see who it is, they say that they are not available.  Very Annoying to say the least.

Got two calls from this number.  There is silence, a beep and a recorded voice says "Goodbye."  Very annoying.

received a call from a young lady saying she was with GE security and my home was chosen for a security system. Installation would be free if I let them put a sign in my yard. I told her already had a system and was
happy with my serve. The caller id stated it was from St Landry Parish in Louisiana.

this number calls me daily i answer they hang up, i dont call back, thinking if you call someway they get your number and can charge you or something, so many scammers out there

I answered to hear someone breathing then a operator saying "Goodbye..."

Enough already!!! Am registered on the DO NOT CALL list and will not answer your calls, so you might as well save your time for someone else!

I received a call from this number recently.  I answer and an automated voice said, "Goodbye,"  my phone beeped and the call disconnected.  I am a littled unsettled by the call.

it was a spoofed number meaning what number u see is NOT where they are calling from if indeed st landys calling area code is what u said.  they can call from anywhere at anytime with spoofing software and it will show a fake number.  it is UNFORTUNATELY a legal software and a lot of telemarketers use it.  if they do who else can?

claimed to be a home security installer and wanted some exposure in my area. when he asked if I was the home owner (none of his business) I asked to be removed from his call list. He hung up! Ofcourse I'm on the do not call list.  His caller ID had St Landry call. That's a Louisiana parish. Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz may be interested but he is area code 337 (not the 318 # I received). Not sure what I will do yet

I received numerous calls from this number, but they hang up when I answer. I have received 2 calls with a recorded message telling me they could put a security sign in my yard and they would install a free security system in my home. I have a security system and I'm on a DO NOT CALL LIST. Of
course, that list is useless.

Got a call from this number the man said he was with GE Home Security. When I said I wasn't the home owner he hung up on me. Very rude.
