This number calls me several times a day and hangs up. I call it back and says number is no longer working. Just want it to stop.

The card service scammers WILL "service" our credit cards, BUT, when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

got robocall from 318-496-4450 caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME" on Saturday 02-22-14 @ 1237 PM
Card services calling to "lower your interest rates due to the economic stimulus.....we can lower your interest to as low as 6.9%. You must have at least $4500 in credit card debt and one card in good standing....press 1...".
So pressed 1 and shortly a guy came on the line. He asked if I was responding to lower your interest. I said "Yes"
He asked "how much do U have in credit card debt"?
I answered "I have $4,000" (didn't even meet their amount BUT he continued).
"How many cards is that with?" I said "I have 3 cards".
He then asked me this "which card had the highest balance"? I told him "Visa".
And that was long enough for me talking to him. He started to ask another question but i gave him at full blast -
my "Raunchy Cussing/Swearing YouTube Rant". Not sure when he bailed as I played it for a solid minute and
when I went back to talk to the SCAMMER the line was just "dead air".
Hope he luved that "Raunchy Cussing/Swearing YouTube Rant".

They said they wouldn't take me off their call list unless I answered trivia correctly. What a bunch of f****.
SickOfIt 2014-02-22 18:15:03 Unknown
I sometimes do this too, but I know it is better not to answer them at all. Then block the number!
SickOfIt 2014-02-22 18:12:52 Unknown
I have a call blocker from CeturyLink which blocks up to 25 numbers and another blocker on my phone system which blocks 30 numbers. It doesn't take long to fill them both up and then I clear them and start over again. I believe you can buy blockers that block 100 numbers or more - just google for them. It is so ridiculous that the government can spy on our every phone call, but can't stop these annoying calls.
SickOfIt 2014-02-22 18:08:14 Unknown
Same thing with me.
Mike 2014-02-22 16:06:39 Unknown
They are already breaking the law. What makes you think another layer of laws will discourage them?
Tutor 2014-02-21 21:50:48 Telemarketer
We get called by them all the time. Nothing works to get rid of them. We were scammed a while back by another company so hopefully I learned my lesson. I do not pick up calls I don't know.
Rob 2014-02-21 20:39:36 Unknown
If you are serious about that, just press 1 to talk to someone and then offer them the reward to turn in their bosses!

Same scumbags - different phone number. Lower my interest rate - of course it's a spoofed number - all the slimeball companies used spoofed numbers.
Bryan Mills 2014-02-21 17:43:10 Unknown
I accept your offer... they have "taken" my time for the last time!
Ed 2014-02-21 16:23:59 Unknown
I strongly agree with those that say not to answer the phone if you don't recognize the number. If you do answer, the robo caller computer will register a "pick up" and your number will be bought and sold and you'll be flooded with unwanted calls. The problem now is the scam artists now are "spoofing" their numbers and locations. Your caller ID may come up as a call from Florida, but the scammer is really calling you from the Cayman Islands or some other place where our laws mean nothing to them. They are searching for vulnerable seniors so they can soak them dry. I used to have a rule in my house, if the call is not local or unidentifiable, we didn't answer it. Now they are spoofing local numbers in my area. The government can't do anything because the scammers are untouchable. Sad to say, you have to take action for yourself. Your phone company may have a call rejection feature that you can use or get a Digitone Call Blocker machine.

These idiot credit card scumbags just don't learn. Report them to the National Do Not Call List and to your state attorney general. My favorite way to teach them a lesson is press 1 and when you get a real person blow a whistle as loud as you can into the phone. Maybe then they will learn!

Dear Scammers:
If we don't answer your calls after the first 300 times you call us, why do you keep calling?
tootiredtoplay 2014-02-18 22:53:48 Unknown
I received a call in with this # on 2/18/14. I had routinely receive calls from 'Card Member Services' and just hung up. I had not received any of these call ins for awhile, until today,( 2/18/14); as I had registered with both my State & national no call registries. Luckily I found this site & now have fewer concerns as to who & why I was being contacted by a # that was 'non-working'.
James 2014-02-18 22:43:26 Unknown
Ann keeps calling me. I should have never answered this call. If it wasn't my work phone i would have never answered this call.
Bryce Anderson 2014-02-18 21:36:53 Telemarketer
"Card Services" has been bugging me for months now, every afternoon, using a series of numbers. I missed this call, but I assume it's them. I called back and got a recording saying it wasn't a working number.
You can't make these guys leave you alone. "Press 3 to be removed?" Does nothing. Pressing 1 and asking the operator to remove you? Does nothing.
Does anyone know how their scam works?
griff 2014-02-18 21:08:35 Unknown
My phone registered with the National Do Not Call list. If I don't know a calling number I won't answer it. I will search the number.
Harrassed 2014-02-18 20:42:20 Unknown
They keep calling every day, all day long, from different fake numbers. I don't answer, but I have to pick up and hang up just to stop all the ring ring ring ring ring ...
