Anyone use Cha Cha recently?

I got this call today! at 4:53 pm Pacific standard time.  It was also on my cell.  Also a spanish messy voice.  Like I didn't hear what was really said

I a call from this number earlier today....missed call. Decideded to look up the number before calling back. The only info I got back was the following: land line, registered in Monroe,LA with Centurytel Solutions (provider). Wish this a** would stop calling random people.

received 2 calls on my cell from this number while I was outside, the second at 7:57 pacific time.

I never answer a number unless I know who it is, wonder what in the world they could have wanted?  Anyone ever talk to this person?

Got a call at 8:40pm PST, when I answered I heard nothing.  I tried to call this number and said it is disconnected.

i just got the same call.. sounded like an old mexican lady... but i dont speek spanish... monroe LA... on my company cell phone at that.

unlisted cell # called at 9.17pmCDT. making the rounds I guess.

didn't know the number OR area code, so i just picked up and hung up.

number called me today 6:18pm. weird. called back and it was disconnected...

just received a phone call from this number. 6:12pm Pacific time. could hear some noises in the background but that's all.

The funny part is that all of us are the same in that we all look the number up immediately!....I'll be honest, I thought it was a collection agency, that's why I googled it.


the strangest part is, I'm typing a message on a site that is suspicious at best...(think about it).....and I'll never come back here again to read the responses.....

I received a call on my unpublished cell number from this one at 6:11PM this evening and no one spoke when I answered. I called back and got "Disconnected or no longer in service" message.

Got a call on my cell from 318-998-9988. Since I dont recognize the number, I didnt answer. They left no message. Did reverse search and got: 3189989988 MONROE, LA.
I dont know a soul in Louisiana.

This number came over my cell phone at 2:30 pm CST today.  I did not pick it up but the i.d. showed Louisiana on it.  What gives?

Add me to the list. I never get calls on my cell. I don't give out the number and just use it for family. I didn't get to it in time, so it sounds like just as well. I agree. If it is worthwhile they will leave a message. No message here.

I got the call at 3:28 p.m.  and didn't answer because I was in a meeting.  I didn't try to call back, but this is strange. No message was left

Just received a call from the number, but I did not answer it since I don't know anyone in Louisiana .

I keep seeing this popup in so many places, so here is my response to another thread.


If you answered or called back you are screwed. This system detects whether the number it is calling is real or not based on a connection when you answer. The system can differentiate between you answer and voice mail because an answer and voice mail are different functions that are instantiated and the spammer knows the difference.

Keep an eye out for the next few months on your bill too verify no unusual charges are occurring on it. These people have the ability to charge you phone number and get cash in hand for it. It is more hassle than I think is worth it on their end, but some people have nothing better to do.

NEVER CALL A NUMBER BACK YOU DON'T KNOW. That should be common sense, b/c if it is important, they will leave a message.

I missed the call about 3 minutes ago.

didnt pick up, immediately googled ... i think its to confirm if a number is dead or a live... maybe some phone bot. You can do a lot with open source pbx software.

I got this call on Tuesday 5/6/08 and it was a Spanish recording.  I speak Spanish. The recording said that I was the lucky affortunate 10th call and that I had won a price and to press #1 to claim my price.  I didn't press anything and the called dropped.  Today is 5/8/08 and I checked my bank account and found a fraudulent charge from a clinic.  Wonder if there is any connection between the two.  Everyone that got this call, Check your bank accounts.

I've received the same call last 2 days in a row (May 6 & 7, 2008).  I just hang up but it is using up my minutes.  Wish I spoke Spanish so I could understand what they are trying to do.
