*sigh* That's not true for one thing. The second thing is that you do not have to renew your number in the DNC list, once on, its permanent unless you remove it!  By "renewing" it - you open yourself up to the legal telemarketers for 30 day's.

These creeps from Better Education Services keep calling from different numbers, even when I get nasty and tell them to TAKE ME OFF THEIR FRIGGING LIST. I'm on the Do Not Call Registry, but the last wise-acre told me I have to go on their own no-call list as well -- which I've been demanding for over a week! They also use 347-897-5619 and 347-897-5622. I renewed my listing on the DNC Registry, and after the 30-day waiting period is finished, if I get another call from these jerks, I'm going to report them to the FCC.

I have received several calls from this number in the last two days.

It's a ton of telemarketers trying to sell us insurance, "further education" courses, and lots of other items.  I think someone has taken the technology form the movies and found a way to have their numbers routed from different called ID's (including different area codes). This way, if you don't answer from Iowa, you may answer from Illinois, or California, or Nevada.  They are hoping to get lucky.  Shady scumbag weasels.....I am on the "do not call registry," but apparently that does not apply anymore...ugh!!!

Didn't answer, there was no message.  Please stop using up all my minutes.

I called the number back and it has an automated intro and says press 1 to speak to a rep and press 2 to be removed. I pressed 2. I guess we will see!

Even if you block the number they will just call from another one.

Wife got a call...no message..we don't pock up any numbers we don't know.

Here is something YOU can do to help. Invest in a call blocking app for cell phone, devise for landline. There you go. Problem solved & the US Government didn't have to do a thing.

Get several calls on my cell. Don't recognize the # and no message is ever left. Can't be important if they won't identify themselves.
