call, but no message

called 3 times - no message and busy signal when i call back

Call was not answered and they left no message...

Received one call from 319-228-5200 today, 3 yesterday.  No voice, no noise when answered.  How can this annoyance be stopped?

This is a telemarketing number for Blue Valley Marketing.  Just ignore it.  If you call the, the company identifies itself and what it does.

Okay, I am a bill collector and I talk to you when you call me. I hate telemarketers. How do they make any $$ if they call you every day and do not talk?

called 10-21-2009, 10-20-2009 10-19-2009 and 10-14-2009.

Several calls no message

called me on my verizon cell phone between 8 -10am  once a day 3 days in a row.   was able to answer 1 and there was no one on the line.  2-23-10, 2-24-10, 2-25-10.  saved their number and set the ringer to silent. is there a better way of dealing with this?

The FTC will not do anything. i have reported them and reported them and they still nothing, apparently what they are doing is legit and they continue to do so.. i think there should be a law on how many times they are able to call, if they called once or twice okay but not 3 times a day!!! I know everyone needs a job but it gets old S***

we get no less than four calls a week from this number and when they call its two to three times that day no answer usual hang up                       what a waste of time

These people call me EVERY WEEK (usually on a Monday).  I have answered several times and told them to STOP calling.  Sometimes I don't even pick up, but now when I do (with the intent of telling them to STOP), they now hang up.  Their behavior is very weird -- almost becoming harassing in its nature.  I have filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

Called - showed as Van Horne IA   I thought it was from our office in Iowa but no one answered when I picked it up.  From what I have read on this site, it sounds like I was lucky

This is a small telemarketing firm for van horne iowa a very small town in east central iowa i believe. They call people to renew free magazine subscriptions that you are already recieving. From experience in the telemarketing field they must be on an automatic dialer which would explain for all the hang ups. They are just trying to make a living i suppose and dont get paid much but minimum wage. You can always request to be taken off the call list. Atleast they arent trying to sell you some bogus scam like credit card protection

Why isn't there a way to tell these kinds of calls to f--- off and die?

I get so mad that I could just scream.  I wouldn't p--- down their throat

Got calls from this number and they keep hanging up.   It is a telemarketer I understand............want them to stop calling.

First call was dead air when I answered. A minute later call from the same number came in requesting verification to continue receiving Redmond Magazine, which is a tech publication. I was fine answering the qualification questions but it baffles me why these companies insist on doing this over the phone when a web based renewal process would save everyone time and money.

This call came up on my cell a few minutes ago and when I answered, no one was there.  It sort of scared me, because even though I'm in Texas, my elderly parents live in that area code and no one in my family would call my cell unless it was an emergency...they always call the house.  Not appreciated and will not answer if I see that number again.

I just got a call and they hung up Wednesday 09-09-2009. They called three days ago at 4 o-clock in the morning and hung up.
