This number calls me every day, and no one is there when I answer it! Just says "Iowa Call" on Caller ID.

this is an automated, "robot" telemarketer for Yellow Book. All you have to do to stop the calls, is call the number, wait for a person to answer and request removal from their call list. they were very polite to me, apologized for the "robot" hang-up calls, and assured me my number was removed. haven't received a call for a few days now.

I've had YellowBook call me from "Out of Area".
They claim that they are verifying my information is correct. Asked me to say my address and last name- once I did, I had unwillingly/unknowingly signed up for some subscription...! This should be illegal!

A lady has called me from this number two times this week now asking for my parents of this house. We don't know anyone in IOWA.

This number calls me every day, and no one is there when I answer it! Just says "Iowa Call" on Caller ID.
If it's Yellow Book as some posts indicate, I don't do business with them or any other 3rd party yellow pages. I use my local phone company. I'm still in the Yellow Book and the others, because they have to list me or no one would use them. Just no fancy ads. Doesn't cost me a dime. If they are robo-dialing me daily, they will definitely NEVER have my business.

Wouldn't say this is a legit call...sounds like they're using a bot to make the calls. That's not legit in my book. Any time there's nobody on the line for the first 10 seconds is a clue it's a telemarketer. It is supposedly from YellowBook when you call back, but it is telemarketing. They're looking for you to spend money and they don't even know who they are calling.

Answered and no one was there. Held the line while I wrote down the info, and it never disconnected nor did anyone come on the line. Caller ID said "Iowa."
