Debt collector, trying to collect old debt that was paid off years ago and they try to recollect by threatening you. They get aggressive with you. Continue to report this number for scam!!

Yes they call me everyday but leaves no message, so I called back, when they answer the phone no one says anything at first then some speaks and says some company that is call on behave of Providian Bank. I don't have any outstanding debt with Providian. The guy gets aggressive with me trying to confirm my name. So I hung up. First time I called the guy hung up on me when I asked what type of company. It is a scam and I blocked their number.

I do not answer calls from unknown numbers, but I do call them to see who they are - after blocking my number, of course. My call was answered by Audix (voice-mail box service) that told me to hold, it was important to speak with me. How honored I felt - Not. The recording goes on to say the voice mail box was for Convergent USA, and I could not leave a message because the voice mail was full.

Translated, they are bill collectors for all types of businesses

No idea what the call was about .. Sounded kinda like a debt collector but I don't have any outstanding debt. She wanted me to verify my address and social I told her to stick it. She them told me the companies should was calling on behalf none sounded familiar. She said she must have the wrong Matt XXXXX and thanked me for my time.
