This number called me at 4 am and left a series of beeps on my answering machine.

Unwanted fax.. No phone # on fax.  Wasting my paper and ink.

Receiving calls during early morning hours.  4:20 AM was the most reent.  Just a beeb, beeb beeb is heard.  May not hear from this pest for weeks or even months.

I received three calls between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM. the last one i answered and they caller hung up. How is it possible to get this persons phone removed?

This number called me yesterday afternoon, tried calling back and it's a fax machine or something. Van Horne IA was the name on the Caller ID

I got 2 times the call from 319-856-2693. One is at around 3:00am, the other is at 12:45am. How can I block this call?

Got this call at 11:51 PM on 5/4.
Guess I was lucky it wasn't at 4 AM.
I am also on the Do Not Call Registry

Called fax machine at 11:53pm, the 3 times @ 1:30am, then 20 times over the next hour between 5:54am and 6:54am.  What a waste of paper

These a*** holes called me at 4:30 AM today, when I called back I just got a beeping sound as if it was a fax machine.  I am reporting them after I type this.  It appears from all of the comments, this company only calls people in the wee hours of the morning.

Just called Van Horne Telephone Company about these calls.  They gave me the name and number of the company who is getting the numbers from them as they have no control over this number.  We are supposed to call Webpoint Communications at 641-983-2030 ext. 107 to file a complaint with them.  Someone is using one of their numbers to send out this crap.

Call came in at 1:57 AM May 5th, 2008.  Called ID showed Van Horne, Iowa.

319-856-2693 Called my home at 2:45am, I jump out of bed thinking something bad has happened. There was nobody on the line, also no fax beeping like others stated.

I received a call this morning at 3:25am from 1-319-856-2693.  The caller ID just showed Iowa caller. I tried calling this number back because my friend is traveling close to this area and I was afraid something bad might have happened, someone answered/pickup but all I got was silents each time I called(1-319-856-2693).  I was very upset an ended up calling my friend at 3:30am and waking her up to make sure everything was ok.  These call seem to happen more and more frequency now and it time someone puts a stop to them.  Now I have to check with the phone company to make sure I'm not getting charge a long distance fee for these calls.  I too have reported them.

They called twice last night about 1:30am..left no messages

Thanks for reporting it. I received the same call two mornings in a row at 1:02 am and 5:08 am the next morning. I too am on the do not call list.

It called our voice line at 4:00 am and left in my answering machine a series of beeps that sound like fax machine signals. Then, it called two more time perhaps because it failed to send its fax.

12:15 am fax tone

Mine came in at 0513 this morning, reported to do not call, this company in Iowa is pushing it.

Fax line rang at 5:46 a.m. "Hot Stock Alert" fax.  Tried reporting on FCC website but that website is down (maybe overloaded?).

319-856-2693 (claiming to be Stock Watch) sent a pump-and-dump fax for Xtreme Motorsports.  I reported it to the FCC.

319-856-2693 just called at 3:22am monday morning! this kind of stuff is wrong and that is all there is to it! I thought something bad must have happend to my Soldier son in Iraq.

319-856-2693 just called; I looked up the number on Google, found this site, and reported the number to the Do Not Call registry after seeing others had done so.

call at 10pm on a sunday night, nuisance

What I used to do if I could get a company's fax number that had fax-spammed me was send them a 10 page document explaining fax spam law, requesting they not fax again, and giving them an allowed fax number (I set up a free one at K7.net).

The kicker is the fax I send is reverse color-- white lettering on a black background, using Word or a similar program. A few words or a small box of text on each page means most of the page is jet black... and it gobbles up fax toner.

I occasionally get a call from a company that receives one of these complaining that I've wasted their toner; some threaten that they're gonna sue!

The best was the company that kept disconnecting the fax before it was done. My computer reads that as a full error and resends the whole fax. They called me effing and blinding but I explained that I was nowhere near the outgoing computer (I was in my car) and the only way to stop it was to "lie back and think of England."

Typical pump-and-dump for EMOC, a pink sheet stock. It has been listed since March and it's range is from 14 cents to 51 cents (2MAY2008 it was 43 cents).
