they have called 6 times with in 2  others

They have called my OFFICE line 5 days in a row asking for an Elena. I keep telling them they are calling a business and no one named Elena works here (never has) PLEASE STOP CALLING!
They say "ok" and call again the next day.

Amazed that they still sell those huge, clunky, heavy, outdated, overpriced Kirby and Rainbow vacuums ... a top of the line Dyson costs 1/4 as much as a Kirby and cleans better!

I got a call from this number and didn't answer.  I thought it was another telemarketer.  I called the number back just to be sure and it is Preferred Credit.  I bought a Kirby Vac last year and had payments taken directly from my account.  Their was a misunderstanding and my payment didn't go through.  The man I spoke to was very nice and very helpful.

I wonder, are you a bill collector, Juice?  A couple of years ago we had a tragedy in our family and it crippled us financially.  A man from a collection agency called me at work and immediately interrogated me.  He tried to bully me and he insulted me more than once.  I told him, please do not call me at work again.  He continued to call me at work and treat me like the bubblegum on the bottom of his shoe.  He had no idea what tragedy had befallen our family and he didn't care.  He demanded payment.  One evening he called me at home and he began to curse me out.  My husband heard him from across the room and got upset.  He took the phone from me and this man proceeded to curse him out.  He called us white trash, lazy, and worthless.  My husband called the supervisor and asked them to listen to the recorded calls that this man had made to us. Yes, I still remember his name.  The supervisor said that his behavior was inappropriate and he would be reprimanded. I can't say if he was or not, but the man never called us again.  We did, as a matter of fact, take care of the financial issue although we should have sued.   This kind of thing happens all of the time to honest people who cannot help it.  It isn't right.  Many debt collectors are assuming that people are not paying because they are trying to skip out.  That isn't always true.  I feel sorry for people who can go to work everyday and their job is to be nasty to others.  It must be a lonely life.

I was at my friends how (I'm only 17 don't own anything but a phone and my mom pays for that) anyway I'm sitting there and this phone number pops up the same one you guys are complaining about and this guy asked if I was a spouse to a lady named Vicky hueghes I don't know who that is and he said she a 25 year old woman, any way tell him my last name is different and he keeps trying to ask if I'm this lady's spouse finally I get mad and tell him that my name is different and I spelled it out for him. Anyway I have no clue who she is and what this guy wants so tell me what do they want with a 17 year old? (also just to verify I only answered this number once and I couldn't remember what this phone call was about)

This number is from Prefered Credit. They are the ones who finance Kirby vacuums.

Have gotten daily calls from this number for probably a week. They never leave a message. Called it back once, automated answering system said Preferred Credit. I've now got an account with Kirby Vacuum which is (I assume) how they got my number. Don't know why they're calling though- my first payment isn't due for two weeks.

Preferred Credit is the name of the company with that phone number.

I have been receiving calls from them regularly but they don't let it ring long enough to answer and they never leave a message.  Anyway, I called them back today to find out what they wanted since I don't have any sort of account through them.  Apparently someone gave them my number as a contact number.  The lady that I spoke with on the phone was very nice and helpful though.  I did not have a bad experience with them at all, except that they are calling the wrong person. :-)

Your an idiot! It was in the news recentlly that these debt collectors have been calling and harrasing people and the wrong people at that. Dont be so closed minded and think that this kind of stuff never happens.

You should tell these people if they HARASS you that it is now a FEDERAL OFFENSE to harass someone (Especially if you just got this number). Debt collectors now cannot do the following: Harass you, threaten you in any fashion with but not limited to lawsuits, garnishment, to send the police to arrest  you etc., If you are not the intended person and they keep calling you, you can get a free number change (due to harassment) and if they then get that number and they call then you can sue them, contact the BBB, and the Consumer Protection, and your local authorities. REMEMBER it is ILLEGAL for any debt company to threaten, harass, otherwise not be professional.

I can promise you no one said f*ing attitude.  you are prolly past due with them.  stop being a dead beat and pay the bill.  People like you make the rest of us pay more.

Answered the phone and they asked for drew, told them they had a private unlisted number and that I didn't know who they were asking for. The guy then said that I was lying and I was drees wife. WTF?? I told him if he called my number again I would sue for harrasment. He then told me to knock off my f*cking attitude and put drew on. I hung up then. They have called seven times since.
