Got 5 phone calls (10:35am) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize.
(Does this mean that they are involved in Interstate Fraud?)  
They, of course, left no message.  
As always, I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.  

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a couple of years now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)  

I'm going to

AND to
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls.  
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)  [I have also bookmarked these URL's.]  
I have also assigned a silent ringtone to this number.  (I am up to 63 now.)
We should all pile on.

They called and left a 3 second blank message.

CLH...great idea.  I will do that next time I know it is a spammer.  Now I have to think of a good business name that no one would want to call!

I told the person immediately, "You are a spammer.  Do not ever call this number again and remove it from your list immediately."  The woman simply spoke louder over me, so I spoke louder still and repeated myself.  

I did call it back, and yep..."This number is not in service."  Spoofed.  I'd add it to my blocked list, but I suspect these scumbags just keep spoofing different numbers.

Just got a call from them, but I searched the number before answering. Glad I did!

these guys are idiots

this number called and said press 1 to speak with a live rep. I pushed 1 asked why are you calling me and got hung up on.
call back and hear "this number is not in service"

I do not know who this is. but I just got this phone number. I do not want calls from them. 320-405-8740.

Those calls probably come from a robodialer.  It starts with (area code) (3 digits)- 0000 and keeps going up.  There is a good chance this is what happened to you.

Received a call from this number today. I did not answer because I didn't recognize the number. I get they are a scam from reading previous post but aren't you all concerned with *how they got your #? They called my cell phone which is on the do not call registry. I don't own any credit cards. If someone is selling my info I want to know about it.

Recorded message from so-called Credit Card Company offering to lower interest rate to 6%...then hung up on me. I am on the Do Not Call list!

Just got a call from this number on my cell and hung up when I heard the recording. Suspected it was a scam. Lowlife, bottom dwelling pond scum!

I got a call today and just hung up. However after doing this I remembered something about these telemarketers. If you "act" like business that takes "orders" (pizza) they will take your # off. I got a call once and said this was "Bill's Pizza" and kept asking the caller if they want pizzas. They took my # off their database after asking me if this was a land line phone.

Don't know what they wanted? If you would have read the previous posts you would have learned they are the card service scammers who want your credit card number to support their drug addictions.

I guess you didn't read the previous posts and learn the callers are criminals and addicts.

Had a new call coming in but i didn't recognize the num so i thought they can leave a message bt dey didn't...don't no wat they wanted bt seems kinda fishy to me!!!!

Received a call today, asked them to put me on their do not call list, the guy on my phone then stated "Put yourself on the list," I stated "My number is on the national do not call registry list," he stated in a very rude manner "Well good for you!" and hung up.

Just got a call, no message, "not in service" when calling back.  Interesting that I didn't pick up (I ususally do) - didn't notice the call until it was too late - oh darn!  Thank you, Karma!

Got at call, they left no message. Sounds like spam.
