If "they" are a "for real" collections agency, then they will have no problem adhering to the rules and regulations of the FDCPA - namely, sending a debt validation letter which proves that the person they are calling does owe on a bill. And btw, just because you say it's real, doesn't make it so - there are too many scammers or fly-by-night outfits trying to collect money that is NOT owed to them!

Just got a call from this number, it is a collectoins agency. And they were collecting for a bill I DID OWE. It is for real. Just double check your not hanging up on legit collection agents!
I BET you ALL owe money if they called you!

most people know that collection agencies have many different phone lines. Of course, it's not one person calling from different lines to try to "trip you up". Also, if you tell them they have the wrong number, they will mark it off until the next collector gets the account and they will try all numbers associated to that account. so what if you have to tell them several times it's the wrong number.....or are you the one with the collection account? Just let it go, no biggee

Got this phone call today. It belongs to a collection agency in Little Falls, Mn. The same agency as this phone number: 320-632-3508. These idiots think by using other phone numbers after they have been told that this "Kelly" doesn't live or have this number and not to call it again. The female calling is rude, says she has the right to keep calling until I either pay the bill or put Kelly on the phone.
