The NDNC list is a joke. These places know that so they keep calling. It would be nice to figure out how to spam them and beat them at their own game.

I hate these calls.  Get a life.

I got the same call even though I am on the national do not call registry.  I asked to be put on their do not call list and told them I would report them if they called again.  So far no second call.

Robo caller. Filed complaint with N DNC R. Hope this will someday shut them down. In the meantime, report and BLOCK the b____rds.

Air Duct Cleaning... blocked

I was on the phone. My call waiting gave me the number. I didn't answer. They called again. I didn't answer. I'm glad I didn't. I'm glad I looked up this number. If they call again, I still won't answer.

Unfortunately, I'm getting as many as 6-8 calls many days from scumbag telemarketers. Not answering the phone is not the answer. When the phone rings, it interrupts whatever I'm doing, causing me to walk into the room with the phone and check the caller ID.

I'm sick sick sick of these creeps calling me from morning until night. I have an unlisted number, pay for Privacy Manager--which they have found ways to avoid by using some false name/number, and I'm on the DNC list. My message recorder now has a message directed to telemarketers saying that we never do business with any company that disrespects the DNC list.

What more are we supposed to do to stop these creeps? I find their aggressive intrusions to be pure, unadulterated harassment. What they do is illegal but they have found ways to get around it. Have you tried to report them? I have, and it's nearly impossible.

I just got the same call 3/30/2011 aT 3:32PM.
I did not answer as it showed on my caller ID pad as a number I did not reconize.
They left no message.

FYI,
1)   Don't even pick up the call ----- you are not obligated to talk to anyone on unknown phone numbers .    Surely you don't open unknown e-mail addresses, do you?
2)  if it's important enough your unknown caller should leave a message      
3)  if you happen to answer the call and the caller is a telemarketer, or is rude or pushy just say "hang on a minute" ( don't even wait for a polite opening ),  put the phone down, and later, hang up when you hear the dial tone.      

TIME is the most valuable asset to telemarketers so the longer you keep them on line the more likely you will be removed from the contact list.   DON'T TALK TO THEM !!!   It works for me !!

Just got the same call.  Said they were from San Jose...I tried to call the number back and got the message that it is not a working number.  Trying to hide their tracks.  Total scam.

Just got a call from this number saying they were from the US Treasury Department and that I had "won" a grant for $7,000.  Yeah, right....

I get a call once per week - leaves message sometimes.  Am, too, on the do not call list.  Robo call and they occasionally leave a message that they want to clean my ducts.  I have no ducts, so this must be another list from another non-specific listing company.

Air duct cleaning service. Automated outcall offering discounts to people "in your neighborhood"..."to make an appointment, press zero" it said, so I did. And asked the guy who answered for his phone number. He got out "415-756-" and then "I'm sorry I have a call waiting!" A minute or so of Muzak followed, after which he picked up the phone again and said my number was being taken off his list. I'm on the national do not call registry, automated calls are illegal, and apparently he knew that I was out to find out who he was so that I could report him.
