Call from "Financial Services for Visa and Mastercard" reported to be in Orlando FL. Repeated attempts to tell them to stop these calls unsuccessful. Told them repeated times that I'm on the do not call list

This is a phishing call number.  Called to say they can lower interest rate on credit card.  Caller ID showed "Card Services" so I thought it was legit.  When I asked how they are able to accomplish this with two different credit card companies, the young man said, "We charge you $900, but you save that much in two or three months."  I declined immediately, and called both companies to cancel cards.

Here's the only way to stop these calls (only you can stop them).

Waste as much of their time as you can stand. Commission salespeople hate that worse than anything. While they're dinking with you, their paycheck is shrinking.

Tell them you're really interested, but your card is with your spouse. You can go get a statement. Take 10 minutes to find one, tell them it's a year old. You'll go find a newer one (10 minutes again, but you never find the 'newer one'). Give them a fake 16-digit number (VISA starts with 4, M/C starts with 5) that you've written down (so you can repeat it when it fails). Expiration date is next year, your name is (some fake name) and the name they have in their 'files' is for people who moved out.
Tell them your rate is 15.9%, you owe $8,000 dollars. When they question the 'wrong' number, tell them sorry, it's an old statement and that card was canceled. The new card is with the spouse who's visiting next door. You'll be right back. Don't come back.

They'll stop calling. Or, call their "Orlando" office at 321 332-0990 and ask the calls to stop, but no promises on that one.

Just had a call from "Card Services", too, claiming they represented multiple card companies.  They were offering to lower interest rates on multiple credit cards, as long as I owed at least $3,000.00, had an interest rate over 10%, and also had an AVAILABLE balance of $500.00 or more.  The caller claimed not to know why the available balance was needed.  She said she was not asking for the security code, just my expiration date, and then asked me to confirm my credit card number.  I finally had enough of the heebee geebees to end the call, but not before I had given her the card number.

To be on the safe side, I called my legitimate credit card company and spoke to a fraud specialist (and put my card on a security hold!), who confirmed that the company that called me is an actual company. The problem is their practices are not on the level.  They lure customers in promising to lower credit card rates, and then want to charge a lot of money to do it.  Whether or not they can actually achieve a lower interest rate is another question - I didn't think to ask my fraud specialist that one.

Just had the same phone call from an automated machine at first, then some guy who sounded like he was from India. He tried to consistently get information from my husband and then myself but to no avail. And, then when my husband got back on the line and told him that he should already have all the information he needed, he hung up!! We called the bank and told them of this and they said it is a scam and not to give out any information!! Just FYI!!

Caller called from a call center initially from 402-982-0770 - name given was Anthony the number given to call back was 1-877-212-3634 ext. 214, sounded like a call center in India.  Received a call back from 321-332-0990 and was told that they were from Card Services and for $800 they could reduce the interest on all Visa/Mastercard credit cards to 6.9% for life.  I attempted to want more information on this the caller continued to berate me and bully me into the service and ended by calling me a "douche" for wanting information.  Called back and found out the company is financial services, was unable to speak with a supervisor (on a conference call) asked to be removed from the call list.  The initial call was a transfer and the voice said it was "Heather who was wanting to lower the interest on my credit card."

This is a debt servicing company, sounds like Ameridebt or the like.  The service they provide one could do on their own.

Had a caller call in the am and had caller id.  Very persisent on me answering credit card question. Had some of my card number, wrong type of card and only had my maiden name which is wrong.  told me someone will call me back within 20 minutes.  Found it odd so I called my credit card company and cancelled my card (just in case)and put this number in the computer and starting reading this messages on this website, and than my phone rang.  It was another man and I told him I spoke with  my card company, and he jumped right back with , did you cancel your card?  I said yes and he called me a idiot and hung up.  I was fuming by this time.  I constantly called these numbers back I had and in the morning u can only leave a message but in the afternoon (2-3ish) there is a lady that answers and I gave her a piece of my mind about the low lifes she works for and she is just as bad a the owners if she works there.  I feel since I also told her to give the seocnd man a message for me.  If anyone from this company ever calls my number again I will get on a plane and go postal at their business.  ( I am not that kind of person, put the had me so upset i couldn't help myself.  I hope before they ruin someones indentity or credit someone stops them.  Best of luck

Just received the same call. They pressured me to give them my credit card information and were very persistant even after I told them they should have it on file if they were with the visa/mastercard company. He assured me that they would never ask for the last 3 digits on the back of the card. He started with the first 4 digits of my credit card number and then asked me to finish giving him the rest of the numbers. I refused and hung up. They called back twice in a row and I hung up. Very suspicious!

Got the same type of call today/ same number 321-332-0990/Orlando FL. He said he was from Visa/MC Credit Services. Raoul was the name. He read off the first four digits of my credit card, wasn't correct, so I was suspicious. He told me to locate the card. He then asked for the expiration date, then later the full account number. Which I didn't give. Then the last four digits of my social. I told him his info was not correct and that I wanted a number to call him back on. He said it wouldn't work if I called him back, so I hung up. He called back three times. I didn't answer, but I closed all my accounts and got fraud protection on my credit report 24/7. Be careful.

This is a total scam.  They do not have the information your credit card company would have.  They did not know I was not the primary card holder.  Didn't know who primary card holder was.  RUN DO NOT WALK FROM THIS SCAM  the number they call from is 321-332-0990.  They say they are in Orlando but I bet they are off shore.  THEY ARE VERY HIGH PRESSURE.  THEY PASSED MY HUSBAND FROM REP TO REP.  They tell you to call back at 1-877212-3634. Pamela Olson extension 267.

PS.  HINT:  What credit card company do you know that you can call back the rep?

Got a call today from some lady who wanted to lower my interest rate. I questioned why my HSBC wasn't calling me diretly and she said their company works direction with VISA/MASTERCARD and all she needed was a few pieces of information from me and then I would receive a call from a man who would verfiy the details. He called and was a complete idiot -- I called HSBC and they recommended I cancel my account which I did. I am worry about identify theft so I am going to contact Experion and make sure no one tries to take out a credit card in my name.  What a waste of my time!

I got the same call from the 321-332-0990.  They called my house originally from a 866 number and then someone called me from the FL #.  I find out the next day that Nancy Stuart filed a credit card app with Discover in my name!  I had that withdrawn, but these ppl have all of my information.  I'm contacting a lawyer that I know to have their company taken care of.  I called to file a complaint and of course couldn't reach a manager or supervisor because they were conveniently out of the office today.  I contacted the better business bureau today and they have never heard of them.  The Nancy Stuart person said that she is sending the $700 to collections today.  I'm also contacting the credit bureas right now.

Claimed to be credit card services o/b/o Chase Visa. They had my full cc number and just needed the expiration date. Right before the call was completed, they said "and because we're lowering your interest rate you'll be seeing an $800 charge on your card" -- when I called the guy on it he became beligerent and said that it was too late, the charge had already gone through. I hung up and called the cc company directly, who said it was a common phishing scam, and they closed the account.

I got the exact same call just now, and the scary thing is, they had my cc # and just needed me to confirm the expiration date.  I realized too late that it was a scam, so I called the cc company immediately and they closed the account before fraudulent charges could be made.

I received a call from 877-212-3634 ext 245 and then I was called back from 321-332-0990. I was on my cell phone with my credit card company while I had them on my landline. They attempted to charge my card $900 for lowering an interest rate. I am so glad that I was so suspicious and called my account to report my concerns. Afterwards I contacted the Attorney Generals office in Florida and filed a formal complaint. I am sure many people are getting robbed via the phone, and I think it's outrageous because they are also using the Presidents name to commit these crimes. They are calling it the Obama credit card interest rate reduction plan.

Received a call from "Credit Services," person named Paulo.  He said I could qualify for a lower interest rate on my credit card.  He managed to get my card number from me.  Gave me a phone number:  877-212-3634 ext. 232 and said someone would be calling me to tell me what interest rate I could get.  I felt uncomfortable after the call, so I called my credit card company and learned there was no such offer.  The return call came from 321-332-0990.  They tried twice within a minute, I didn't pick up the phone but took down the phone number then found out about the fraudulent charges that could appear on my card.  Called my credit card company again, this time I talked to the Fraud Dept. and stopped my card.  The first call came from a different phone number than these two.  The third time they called, I picked up the phone and heard a young woman's voice.  I hung up.

Had the same call many times, but so far they never gave me their number. Today I managed to pry out of the over-eager sales lady two numbers: 877-212-3634 and then they called me back from 321-332-0990.

I have reported them before, but our law enforcement is not doing anything.

Had same call just now. A confirmation call was to conspire to complete transaction. When I received the call I was told that I would see a$400 charges on my cards for the services. When I explained I wasn't aware of this transaction and was no longer interested in their services he informed me that it was already done and I could not do anything about it. He began telling me how stupid I was and calling me names. I asked to speak with a superior and for an address and phone number. He hung up!

Had the same call today. He wanted to reduce all of my interest rates on my cards as long as my balance was above $3000. Then he read the first four digits of my cards (which some were wrong) and needed me to confirm them. I said I did not feel comfortable and then he continued to press me so I hung up and then he continued to call 2 additional times from this Florida number leaving messages. Initially the number was card services 402-982-0763 and was a recording. He gave me his information in order to get me to comply (Raul Rodriguez Visa and Mastercard Financial services 1 877 212 3634 ext 255), but said if I called back it would't work. This number answers with Financial Consulting Services which shows up multiple times on Better Business Bureau's website in multiple locations, not FL but is not accredited but has no complaints either. Called all of my credit card companies to let them know of the scam and change my numbers. Not taking any chances.

He even started saying a couple numbers that he couldn't finish without my help; really, please! This is the number he used to call back on from the first time he called from 562-288-7140 Credit Services
