I got a call asking for the business owner. I asked where they were calling from, he said NYC. I asked for his supervisor, who admitted they were in India. The caller ID displayed a local number, so obviously this is a major scam.

I am on the DO CALL LIST and also received a call from the nubere asking fora credit card number.

Got a call from 321-354-0032 at 1:01 PM on 11/29/2011. I answered and said "hello" several times with no response. Hung up and they called right back at 1:02 PM. Again I answered and got no response. I did not call the number back and do not intend to do so.

Just wanted to add to my previous message. I called the number and got a recording that said "for english press 1" then something in spanish (I assume press 2 for spanish). I hung up. I heard about calls such as this that resulted in charges to your phone bill after pressing one of the numbers. I'm speculating, of course, but it seems wise not to answer these calls until more is known about them.

Didn't answer because caller ID said "Private Caller." I don't answer any numbers or names I don't recognize. Ring stopped before answering machine could pick up. I'm going to block the number.

no message left by caller but when call is returned it requests the entry of a card number with no additional information. Several calls from this number within the last week.
