got phone call in washington state on my cell phone today stating my wells fargo card locked press 1 to unlock..i have never had a wells fargo card!

Received the same type call.   Said they were with Wells Fargo but when I dialed them back it was a wastewater company.  Tried to leave a message to see what was up but the voicemail was full. Strange.

Called me @ 3:08 am on my cell, Grand Jct, CO. No msg left, called # back and got a Stormwater Underground and rock solid rock

Received a call on my cell phone (prefix 970; western Colorado) at 11:10pm PST on October 10th with the same automated message that others have described.

Got the call at 2:30 a.m. I do have a Wells Fargo Account. Following prompts leads them to ask you to input your bank card #. Bank already has my #!! SCAM!

Grand Junction number, same experience, although we were in California at the time

They called me @ 2:55 am. I too have a cell phone # from Western Slope. I'm calling the FTC and filing a police report.

Also located in Westchester, NY.  Received call on 10/10/11 at 2:29am on my cell phone.  Did not answer it as I was asleep.  Left no message, did not call number back.

Same here, got the call after 9 last night. Don't have a Wells Fargo account, obviously a big time scammer at work here.

I received the call at 11:58 PM.  I am in Mesa County.  Appears to be a lot of calls to this area.

Received the same call at 2:51 am in Mesa County Colorado as well. Called it back and connected with Stormwater  Underground and Rock Solid something or other. Definitely phishing scam.

If any body else has this problem, i encourage you to report it by filing a police report or telephone fraud report with the FTC by calling 1-877-FTC-HELP.

Got a call from this number about an hour ago. I also have a Colorado number.

Got this @ 1:50 am in Mesa county, Co. Got a auto message saying my card for wellsfargo was canceled due to security or something. I don't use that crappy bank anyways. Called the number back and it's totally something different :-\

just got a call @ 12:05 am. Western Co.  Left a partial message.

Got the same call in Grand Junction co at 11:45pm.

I got a call at 9:30pm, saying the same thing (card was locked, etc).c I DO have a wells fargo account but hung up and called my bank directly to report it to them since I thought it was a little strange. I was curious, so I followed the prompts,  Once you do, it wants you to input your card number to re-activate it.  Too suspicious for me, and that's when I hung up.  How stupid

Got the same call from Titusville FL. They said they had locked my auto and I needed to press 1 to unlock it.

Received an automated called on my cell phone saying my wells fargo card had been blocked and to press 1 to unlock it. I do not have a card or account with Wells Fargo either. Complete scam

This person called and left a voice mail saying my account had been frozen for security reasons. I have no idea what account or what was frozen.

Yep, I got it too, 1:54AM at our home in Westchester County NY.  Definitely a phishing scam.  Do not give them any personal information.

I had the exact same experience. This number called me at 4:30am with an automated message saying my Wells Fargo credit card had been locked for security purposes. I as well do not have a Wells Fargo credit card and figured it was a scam.

Automated response that a Wells Fargo account is locked and to press 1 to unlock. I don't have a Wells Fargo account so this is a total scam. Plus they never mentioned a name or account number so they are obviously just phishing. Said Titusville, FL
