They want you to do a timeshare in Orlando. You have to pay for the week ahead of time and then do a tour. They say it is at a discount..You have one day only to decide or you won't get that great deal ever again ! You have to have a major credit card make over 50,000 a year and be between the ages of 25 to 70. Not worth it to me, especially I could find the same 1 week deal at the same time share for a bit cheaper without a tour...I always travel to orlando and always find a timeshare to rent on ebay...I use the same agent every year!!

Having same problem repeatedly.  Don't pickup or return.  May be the 9.99 scamm charge to your phone ..

The US 'do not call list' is the biggest BS law ever passed. I enter these phone numbers in my address book and set the ringtone to silent. They can call all day for all I care. My phone doesn't do anything when they call. No ring and no vibrate. If you have an iPhone... you can do the same thing. Just scroll down when you add the number and select 'block'. If you are consistent... the calls won't stop but you'll never see them.

They called last night at 9:21pm. Obviously don't know or care about the 9pm cutoff. No message, damn annoying!

Got called by this number last night.  They left no message.  Forwarded the number to the CRTC since I'm on the Canadian DNCL.

Michelle, why are you annoyed? The Do Not Call list is supposed to be protecting people's right not to be called by telemarketers if they choose not to be. We shouldn't have to "give it up" just because some unethical companies decide rules don't apply to them, and finds ways to get around those rules. What if your neighbor decided to throw a noisy party at 3 a.m. and you called the police and they said, "Give it up. They'll party when they want. We don't care."

And yeah, I just got called by this number -- that's two calls from telemarketers I've had between 7:45 and 9:00 in the evening within the space of about four days. Too bad Bell's screen list only lets you block 12 calls. No, we don't want a fake trip to Disneyworld. No, we don't want our ductwork cleaned by some random company calling us whenever they please. No, we don't want our credit card interest rate lowered -- if we do, we'll talk to the bank that issued the card. Leave us alone -- please.

I realize telemarketers are just people who desperately needed a job, but that doesn't make breaking the rules ethical. If people say they don't want to be called, it means THEY DON'T WANT TO BE CALLED.

Those callers are hopeful idiots.  I never answer a number I don't recognise. If the number is legitimate, they will leave a call-back number.

This is the second time in two days that this number called. Never did answer the call.

Unfortunately the "do not call list" only works for companies in Canada.  If it is in the States or off shore they don't have to recognize it.  Sorry

Or they may be using the Do Not Call List itself. What a great list to get if you are a scammer. Millions of legitimate working numbers you can program into your robocaller. All of them unsuspecting as they know they are free from telemarketers. The list is easy enough to get, and since they are calling from spoofed numbers, either someone elses or an unassigned number. They are home free. The DNC list is a blessing to these people, report all you want the govt. won't do anything because when they call the number you give them it is not a working number.

Got a call from this number which is strange because I am in Manitoba, Canada and this call was from Florida. Not sure if this was a telemarketer call.

We've been on the Do Not Call (DNC) list since its inception, but we got a call from this "company" offering some Disney cruise.

"Press one to find out more, press two to not receive any more calls," or some such spiel.

I pressed ONE because I wanted to give the person who answered a piece of my mind.

We subscribed to the DNC list in order to end the nuisance calls, which were occasional before, but became much more frequent since subscribing.

It seems that some "companies" are using the DNC list as their call list.

I am chuckling about the Jesus idea...because I'm now going to use it.  Probably with variations such as 'I only do business with people who have accepted the Lord.  Have you?'

They just tried my home in Vancouver.

When you get a person, just say, "Jesus loves you!" and hang up.
