Thanks for your suggestion. I got the same call. I reported it also. Hopefully eventually they will stop them.

I have been receiving call from these phones (321) 872 3219 and (303) 325 7877
they claim tha I have a balance with them for all the magazines I am receiving. They do not give any magazine name but keep repeating tha I have to pay the balance that is already past due.
I am not receiving any magazine and I do not have any subcription beyon Consumer Rerorts, an USA Today.
What can I do to stop them from calling me?

these people are relentless and scam artist.
call back on a landline and the number rings and rings.
go to the Do Not Call registry website and file a complaint.
this company is trying to skirt around the law by calling claiming that they are owed money,
and the only way to shut them down is to continually report them over and over and over again.
They are not skirting around the law, they are breaking the law.

Some Tips to Avoid Telemarketing Fraud:
It's very difficult to get your money back if you've been cheated over the phone. Before you buy anything by telephone, remember:
Don't buy from an unfamiliar company. Legitimate businesses understand that you want more information about their company and are happy to comply.
Always ask for and wait until you receive written material about any offer or charity. If you get brochures about costly investments, ask someone whose financial advice you trust to review them. But, unfortunately, beware -- not everything written down is true.
Always check out unfamiliar companies with your local consumer protection agency, Better Business Bureau, state Attorney General, the National Fraud Information Center, or other watchdog groups. Unfortunately, not all bad businesses can be identified through these organizations.
Obtain a salesperson's name, business identity, telephone number, street address, mailing address, and business license number before you transact business. Some con artists give out false names, telephone numbers, addresses, and business license numbers. Verify the accuracy of these items.
Before you give money to a charity or make an investment, find out what percentage of the money is paid in commissions and what percentage actually goes to the charity or investment.
Before you send money, ask yourself a simple question. "What guarantee do I really have that this solicitor will use my money in the manner we agreed upon?"
You must not be asked to pay in advance for services. Pay services only after they are delivered.
Some con artists will send a messenger to your home to pick up money, claiming it is part of their service to you. In reality, they are taking your money without leaving any trace of who they are or where they can be reached.
Always take your time making a decision. Legitimate companies won't pressure you to make a snap decision.
Don't pay for a "free prize." If a caller tells you the payment is for taxes, he or she is violating federal law.
Before you receive your next sales pitch, decide what your limits are -- the kinds of financial information you will and won't give out on the telephone.
It's never rude to wait and think about an offer. Be sure to talk over big investments offered by telephone salespeople with a trusted friend, family member, or financial advisor.
Never respond to an offer you don't understand thoroughly.
Never send money or give out personal information such as credit card numbers and expiration dates, bank account numbers, dates of birth, or social security numbers to unfamiliar companies or unknown persons.
Your personal information is often brokered to telemarketers through third parties.
If you have information about a fraud report it to state, local, or federal law enforcement agencies.

I've received hundreds of calls from this number! They said they'd suit me if didn't pay their 48-month program, but then they said they would give me 50% off, which means I had to pay around 700$! Nowadays, i've received nothing from them. So decided to go the Bank and close my acc again.
The only thing I do not understand is that why no Police, FBI, or any other government service against scams like that DO NOT ACT!? Treasure Coast Co. made millions just by calling 5 times a day.

I got a voicemail that said something like
"...all that salt..." or "...aw that sucks..." but I couldn't hear it exactly. It was a woman's voice and there was music in the background.

They had last 4 of my debit card, said they were going to debit acct & nothing I could do. Gave them an ear full, no longer answer the phone if number I don't recognize. Filled complaint with Attorney Generals Office, & BBB. Not a working number...scammers!

We receive calls from this number constantly. They always ask for James and I tell them he is not available. They will not talk to me. This week he was available and the woman proceeded to tell him the same things - you subscribed to magazines for a weekly charge of $3.59 for 60 months. He asked what magazines, who he subscribed with and that he has not received any magazines. She told him that she was placing a courtesy call from the credit department. He told her that he would like for her to talk with his wife about this. When I got on the phone and asked some pressing questions, she hung up. I did a reverse look-up on the number and it is from Melbourne, FL.

Received another call from this number today. It worried me at first because I have excellent credit. They claim I ordered magazines and I had a balance. I told them I had not ordered any magazines and have not received any magazines and do not owe them anything. He (Bob???) said the would send me a copy of the document I signed and I told him again I had not signed anything, etc. He said with this evil, smart voice, "...then you can look at it (the contract) in the privacy of your own home with all of your loved ones." I said for him to never call me again and hung up on him. He called me right back and said that we must have gotten disconnected. I informed him I hung up on him and to never call back. When I tried to call him back to see what sort of operation this was the recording said something like this number is not in service. He said the name of the company was Treasure Coast Readers????

I have been getting calls from this # for the last few months with the same claims. When I hear anything about magazines I tell them I dont have that credit card any more and I never subscribed and then I hang up. Sometimes I just hang up and then it is like phone war! They call and call every 5 min. What can be done? If you know please everyone know.

I have received multiple calls from this company about ordering magazines. I did not order ever.
I have 20 calls in the past six months and they either hang up or threaten me. The most recent call was from a supervisor who told me he would reduce my payments by half. I told him that i did not order the magazines and did not want them. he said that was unfortunate and he was going to bill me the full amount unless I agreed to talk them fro half price. i have never even received the magazines.
Companies like this should be drawn and quartered.

I just filed a complaint on the do not call registry webpage for this number.
When you call back 13218723219 from a cell phone it says that the number is not working,
but if you call back from a landline - this number rings and rings until it disconnects.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO FILE A COMPLAINT ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY WEBPAGE
AND STOP THESE PEOPLE.
Thanks

This is a SCAM. They called and offered to lower my payment on my magazine subscription. I do not subscribe to ant magazines. They had the last 4 of my credit card number. Probably from where I had ordered something in the past and that company has sold my information to these telemarketers in Florida. Do not give them any additional information. Keep asking them questions and they will hang up on you.

Just received my third call from this so-called company. I've asked to speak to a supervisor the last two times they called, and both times they hung up on me. They said they have the last four digits of my credit card and would turn me over to collections. I tried the number on my caller ID and it comes back as not in service.

These people called me and told me that my grace time was up and instead of the normal $59 that they had been automatically withdrawing monthly from my bank account - I owed $69, and it was due now. I asked what for and was told it was for my magazine subscriptions. I told them I didn't get magazines and didn't want any. I asked what I owed and she said "oh, well you don't have a balance now". I said good then cancel. "Well I'll have to transfer you to my supervisor to assist you in canceling". Again she wanted $69. I told them NO, I have not received any magazines and I'm not paying for any magazines. "Well, you still have to pay the $69" for what???? I told her to sue me. Then I ask her to spell out the name of her company for me - she hung up! I called my bank and there has never been such a withdrawal. They probably wanted to scam me into thinking that I owed them $$$ and then would want me to verify my bank numbers with them. I *69'd and tried to call them back. It said the number was either disconnected or no longer in service. Watch out for the scam artists and thieves.

I received a call on 05/24/2010, they called me wanting to know if I have received my magazines, and I told them that I did not subscribe to receive any magazines. She said that I have been paying on my account, and I am in good standing. She also said that I have a open account with them, and I asked her how she got my name, and phone#? She began to tell me that she also has my address, and verified it to me, and said she would check into it and call me back. Well I do not expect a return phone call due to it sounds like a scam to get you to purchase there magazines. Also there is more than one company calling with the same scam, they ask you if you have received Readers Magazine, so do not fall for this, it is also a scam!!!!

I keep getting phone calls from 321-872-3219. I do not answer because I have checked out the number and it is a scam from a company who claims you owe then for mazazines that have not been ordered.

received phone call from this number today - said they were calling about my women's package I ordered and said they were callling to help me reduce my monthly payment. I told them any and all magazines allegedly ordered by me would be cancelled. She said I was beyond the "17 day" cancellation period. I told her I didn't know who she was or where she came from and I hung up. When I tried to call back the number was not in service. SCAM!

Same thing as others are reporting, they congratulated me on getting my ongoing (60 months worth) of magazine subscription service- reduced to just 2 years- I do not get ongoing magazing service so asked which magazines they are speaking of and they couldn't answer- they asked me to verify my birthday and credit card number but wouldn't tell me what was on file, but asked me to tell them! I wouldn't do it, yelled and hung up!
