Just now but they hung up??? Caller ID:  MONTEBELLO, CA

I did, just now. Annoying.  They just sit there and I swear they are breathing into the phone.  Creepy.

caller just sits there and does not say anything.  You know it's hard enough to get up and make it to the phone before it stops ringing.  I hate calls like this.  I hope when they're sick, no one lets them rest.

I was gone but this number showed up on my caller ID.  When I called it back, it said that this number is not in service.....what I have learned from numbers like this when nobody says anything, is that it is a computer calling your number to find out if you are a legitimate number or not so that a telemarketing service can call you.
Whenever you get a call with nobody else on the other end at all, immediately hit your pound key about 4-5 times and immediately hang up.  After a few times, this will confuse that computer into thinking you are another computer and it will remove your number from their system.  I have tried this and it does work if its done every time the calls come in.
I was getting calls like this at least 10 times a day, no exaggeration, and I learned this tip and tried it and within 3 days, I never got another one.

Got a call from (323) 213-8569 today, they hung up. White Pages says:
"is a cell phone in Montebello, CA"
Hpone Books says:
"T-mobile Usa cell phone in Commerce, California"
Intelius claims:
"land-line in Los Angeles, CA"
US Search says it's a:
"T-mobile Usa cell phone located in ORANGE, CA"
Reverse Phone Detective says it's a:
"Land-line in Gardena, CA"

...not very comforting that none of them can agree.

Just got one and, like everybody else, the caller didn't say a word and just hung up.

I got one today and didn't pick up since no name was listed, and I don't know anyone in California. No message. I tried to return the call as I'm in the job market, but the number isn't a working one. Exactly how can they call me from a number that's not working?

Because it's legal to spoof your number! And no real company (I don't care how big they are.) would ever call you on spoofed number.

I got one just a few minutes ago.  I blocked it.......

I got one too.  Caller ID just said the number and "California."  When I picked it up, whoever it was hung up.

Anybody getting calls from this number?

Several calls coming from this cellular phone with no one on the sending end.

I received this call a moment ago and it was from:  Montebello, CA.  I heard a couple of clicks and then I hung up.  I am on a no call list but I have been receiving this type of call (more often), for the past month.

This is the 2nd time i have answered the phone and the caller hangs up when I say hello.  What is this
all about?

You should report this call to the phone company, at least.

I have a call asking me to make donation to Taliban. It hangs up after I decline.

Just recieved a call from this number and they were asking if we wanted to donate to the Taliban! Then he said if we didn't donate he knew where we lived and when we went to bed and that they would come kill us.  Wish they would show up to my door and ask me that!

Yesterday this number was a Dish Network 'poll' - they have called several times. Caller ID says Los Angeles, CA. if you have Comcast phone service you can block up to ten numbers; definitely blocking these folks. For Comcast users press *60 (star 60) and follow the voice prompts.

I picked up the phone but there was no one there, or any time of noise or anything. Don't bother answering.
