I got a couple calls from 323-271-4687 I called back an Asian man answered asked my name . Then he told me my birth date . HHMMMMM......And that I would b arrested straight from my job this or these people need to be stopped an fast

I just got that call also an I called back a asian man answered an asked my name then he told me my date of birth  HHMMMMMM.....    323-271-4687 is the number that called me I think he is a identity thief.  Don't answer your phone people ....

I received this message on my phone as well, this is insane because it trips folks out, what do they gain from this and how?

What I would like to know is what exactly do they get? Ive  called repeatedly and get no answer, yet they called me 3 times yesterday.

I just received the same call, what is the point of these people doing this? I cannot get an answer at that # either.

I received same message called back n it says he was an attorney n said he could only give info to this person so I said I am I asked what legal thing you claim to have n he said let me get the report n then hung up called back couple times got recording says they are not available n next was they are on the phone has someone else try n same thing how can people get away with this crap

They just call from different number have blocked the number 15 times and they call me from a new number.  I call them and screw with them.

I just got a call and voicemail from this number a few minutes ago...it is scary but try to keep calm. If there was really a law suit against you then the attorney or office calling would leave legal office info, attorney's name, and stuff like that. Definitely get a call blocker and block them, and do not call this number back.

I received the same message. There wasn't anything said to identify this person. They stated there was a legal case against you and that I would be getting arrested, "see you at the courthouse." I believe now that this is a phishing scam trying to get my personal information.

They're scammers/extortionists working out of India.   Might consider a call blocker.

My eleven year daughter just received this same call on her cell phone, and came running to me frantic! I heard the voicemail message that stated I will be arrested by the police. When I called back I did not get an answer just several rings then a beep. I really wish they,whoever it may be to STOP!

I got the same exact call today. I tried to call  back it says  the preson is on the phone an starts beeping.  I know it's a scam , its ridiculous.  How they get by with this.  This is  a very helpful site ty all  im  glad to know I wasn't alone . An furious of the nerve of these ppl.

I got a call from 323-271-4687 stating they have a case against me, and that I would be arrested at my place of business, I immediately called child support because I pay, and I am a nurse. Just imagine what happens to the sick people I take care of when I get arrested. I am glad they suggested I look up the number, and they told me it was a scam. These people should be punished for abusing others.

I received a message from 323-271-4687 too..same exact message I read from everyone else!! I knew from the beginning it was a scam because I live on the east coast & I've never even gotten a ticket in my life..nor have I ever been in trouble with the law!! I did find the number leads to someone named Vincent sthair on Wilshire boulevard!!

Called the number out of curiosity.    The guy has got an Indian accent but he is trying to suppress it.  Trolled him a little bit.  He finally started cussing me out in Hindi.

Don't waste your time.    These callers  are most likely scammer/extortionists located in India.  You can't prevent the calls from being initiated, but you can protect yourself.   Invest in a call-blocker.

I got this same call. Its friggin Indian scammers. Its from the L.A. Hollywood area. I'm working on getting the exact address. I called them and said I was on my way to their house.  So what I do when I get these calls are to tell them I'm gonna find them and handle them myself. If you know what I am saying.

I had the same exact message, they have done this to a lot of people and family it is sick that these people are doing this to people and need to be stopped.

I got the call and let it go to voicemail. They left a message saying They had a legal case against me and for that reason, I would be arrested from my work place or home. When I called her back it was the same woman that was in the recording. She said if I didn't resolve it now, I would go to jail for 6-8 months and be charged 5,500 instead of the $998 she was asking for. They said they were from cash net financial and a lawyer for the company suing me. She never gave me a name but when I asked what company and debt this was pertaining to she could tell me nothing. She then said I could not call her back and if we got off the phone, it would end the possibility of resolving the matter and I would go to jail. She also said that it would need to be paid in cash and they would take no personal information that they would need to run credit cards or debit cards. I told her that I have now tracked her address and she would be the one going to jail. I got off the phone and googled both the company, which has been out of business for 3 years, and the number. When I called her back, there was no answer. Definitely a scam.

This is a extortion scam operation, don't even bother answering the phone except to pick it up and hang it up Don't talk to them, don't engage. Just report them to the proper agency's listed in my post above.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Same call earlier this evening... same tactics. I called back, and he told me I was being sued for fraudulent checks and cyber fraud.  When I swore at him, he said see you in court and hung up on me.  This needs to stop... The cops said there is nothing they can do.

I got a call as well from this number. And tried to call back and it beeped in on my call waiting during the process. I don't know anyone or any businesses out of California that I deal with. Also tried to locate a business online to connect the number to and of course there was nothing.
