My number was once listed as a small business.  Numbers like these keep calling and not speaking to me once I answer "hello", and not a business answer.

How do you get them off their calling list?   Common sense tells me that these people are up to no good.  Small Business are having a hard time getting a loan, but they are willing to give $8000.00 credit line over the phone??????????????

What a rip.  He hung up on me before I could even get the words out to take me off the list.

They call pretty regularly. I always push it to v-mail and they hang up.

They're pretty persistent. Tip: If you have AT&T Wireless, add the feature "Smart Limits for Wireless". For $4.99/mo , you can actually BLOCK up to 15 phone #'s from calling your cellphone, even if they use the same phone # and decide to get slick and mark it a private #, it won't fool the call block feature, but it will only work if they call from the same #. For your land line phone, contact your local phone company and add call blocking to your account. This should take care of it. Worked for me :-)

who are they? keep calling me!

Have gotten calls from this number (and several other numbers) that are all pre-recorded messages starting out with, "Hello....this is John calling....". I've gotten these calls for the last 4 years and can't make them stop....course, I never get to talk to a real live human being, not that that would help anyway from what everyone else says. Isn't there SOME way to make them stop???? Isn't this against the law somewhere????

several calls a day, several days a week...for months. the # shows up on caller id; no voicemail messages.  after reading your other reports, i will not answer the number.

it is a telemarketer for a company that usually sends out a recording that it is "john" from nsb bank, wanting to offer a line of credit. i get 2 a day at work and now they have resorted to having a live person in a stupid fake a** disguise voice trying to order something. They hang up on you and you get curious and call the number back and it is a recording as well, asking you to hold and wait for a representative. i have heard the same recording from "John" for nearly 5 years , spread out over a couple different job sites...

This is insane.  Why would a legal business call and not leave a message.  I am in Florida and I just received a call for this number.

They just called my cell-phone this morning.  I'm in Florida visiting Texas for the holidays right now.

Belongs to National Small Business Alliance. They call every few days, even though I asked to be placed on the "Do Not Call" list. I threatened legal action with last call. We'll see if that works...

They are calling my cell phone in tennessee, they call all the time and its getting quite annoying. How did they get my cell phone number?

these clowns call daily. I'm guessing they want to trace my phone line for some clandestine reason. I use a DSL line so somehow they must be able to find the line and disrupt it or something.

This is one of several numbers we have received a pre-recorded message that starts out, "This is John calling..."  I don't know how it ends, because I always hang up.  I'm sure it's trying to sell something.

i forgot to add to my last post that they are calling south dakota and i just now filed a complaint with the attorney general in my state

i use a tty and this number only shows up as the name los angeles ca on the caller id

They are calling TX, too.  I get three calls every day on a cell number that is only 2 weeks old!  I have registered with the Do Not Call list.  In 31 days if they keep calling, I shall report the number to federal authorities.

im in michigan  and they called me too - but left no message

I just recieved a call form there and they told me that the 8,000 credit line they said I applied for had been approved and all I had to do to activate it was call a number. It's very wierd. I'd recommend not doing that.

Just received a call from 323-301-7049 - are they targeting residents in Utah?
