I received a letter from these creeps today saying I owed $1382.22  to this company called Household Renaissance ::  Never heard of this debt or the HH R:::   Beware Of These Frauds Who'd  Love To Steal Your Money !

They keep calling me too.  A restraining order is files against you to keep you away from a person, place of business, etc.  So I told them to go ahead and file the retraining order.

Global Arbitration and Process Servers, a collection agency masquerading as "special investigators," and who claim that there are "restraining orders" against you and that there have been "several attempts to serve you at your home" (there have not), and to "save you the embarrassment of being served at your workplace," they will be happy to set up a payment plan ... but if you do not make the payment, then "a warrant will be issued for your arrest, and the charges will be fraud". When the "special investigator" transfers you to the "claims" department person (they put you on hold), the "claims" person sounds EXACTLY like the "special investigator". Scummy collection practices, threatening and scaring people into making payment arrangements.

This Global company called my grandparents who live in a different state and said that they were an investigator with the Sheriffs Department and I was to call this 904-270-9922 by 3pm in order to not get a warrent for my arrest for not appearing in court.  I have never heard of them and I have no court hearings or arrest warrents out they are a major scam....

We received the same phony threatening phone call from this outfit.  Checked on-line and found out they are as phony as a three-dollar bill.  My wife and I cracked-up  and pressed the delete button.  I suggest everyone else should do the same!   Still laughing.................

My parent relayed a message from a Sarah McGee stating I was going to have a judgment brought against me and it was important I return her call to (904)270-9922 refer to a certain PAS #. My parent is elderly, I am an adult and had not lived at home for over 21 years but my parent told caller the message may get passed on and may not depending on if contact could be made.  I sure wish the system to track down (in my case) "Dead-beat Dad's that don't pay their child support or refuse to appear in court regarding child support orders" were as effective! Maybe that system can hire this system to get that system to work! I'm not sure what debt collector this may be, but wouldn't mail be a route to go if someone did owe a debt? Is this a way to harass the elderly or attempt to acquire private, personal information?

I also received a call from "special investigator" Eric Minor.
He made comments including affidavit#, respondent, appear in
Court, and attorney. Said I had 24 hrs to call

This company is located in Cleveland, Ohio lasted building is the Leaner Building Located down the street from the Superior Location. THis company is bringin in 24,000.00 a day, five days a week... takin money from people that don';t even owe debts. The FBI must be involved because they are aware but still allowing this to go on....... They are not paying taxes on any of this money.... So thats whey so many people work for them because they pay  in cash but lately because of theft within the company,,, they are paying with SNF accounts thats gettin a lot of employee upset.... then they have the nerve to BULLYthe employess an make up excesses on why they cant get paid....... Also CHASE BANK holds accounts for them for deposit an transations..... Its a lot of companys that involved with this scam.... I got the call and told I was sent a supeon notice three times and that I never responded. So they were gonnacharge me with fraud if I didn't set up payment arrangements so I asked the guys why would you guys call and tell me someone put a restraining order against me, and he says the bank put a restraining order again you for financial assets reason. Now I'm not stupid I said, restraining orders come from the courts and for family and self protection only used in divorces for real estate and bank freezes and the guy just hangs up when I questioned him and gave him the third degree on it.

These people need to be reported as acting like a court of law and giving out totally false information saying there is a restraining order.

I received a voicemail yesterday from Special Investigator Eric Minor, he did not identify any company.  Just said he was calling to inform me that I was named as a respondent on a complaint and there was a restraining order against me, and I & my attorney had 24 hours to respond.  I would also have to appear in court.  He told me to call 904-270-9922 and give this # HSBN-1773 and mention the restraining order.  Then told me good luck.  I was a worried at first, but things were not making any sense to me.  The more I thought about it the more I was questioning why was it that I had not received any papers in the mail, nor did anyone come to my house to serve me.  So I decided to google the phone number to find out where he was calling from because I didn't recognize the area code.  I was not surprised when I saw all the links come up with the same number talking about it being a scam.  I am very thankful that I paid attention to the voice that kept nagging me.

These people called leaving a message that there was a restraining order filed against me and I was to call the number.  When I called back they said it was a restraining order against my finances.  The account they called about was discharged in my bankruptcy.  This company should not be allowed to be in business.

My mother just got the same call from a Special Investigator Mary Myers saying the exact same thing. So I told her give me the name and number & I will look up and when I googled the number these posting came up.  Thanks everybody becuase my mom was about to lose her mind. So I'm going to call Mary back tomorrow and let her know that I'm an attorney.

I got phone call as the persons above me, but the call was received at someone else's house under my maiden name. They claimed that I had a restraining order filed on my maiden name? Uhhhh That was the first red flag, second was the restraining order over the phone. Filed complaint with FBI and FTC. Suggest the same from future consumers from this number.

I received a call at my parents home from Global Arbitration Process Service from a Kim Reed, special investigator stating that I have 24-48 hours to contact them along with my attorney.  This is X-Mas Eve, first of all I have a M.S. in legal studies.  The recording also stated that I have a restraining order filed against me.  When you call 904-270-9922, you are holding and holding and holding...The BBB needs to be contacted regarding this matter. You do not leave personal legal information on someone else's answering service.

I received messages on both my home AND cell phone for someone OTHER than myself. Stated she was Mary Spark, private investigator, with the same "affadavid/respondant/restraining order" BS (as I'm reading on this site) with instructions to forward to MY attorney with 24-48 hours to respond.  Who are they going to scare next?  This person's 90 year old Grandmother?  Sure...people need to face their debts, even in bad times... but this is just so wrong.  Many of our precious senior citizens wouldn't know how to decifer this kind of blatant deception and end up with a bill from their attorney who they called to explain it to them.  Makes me sick and sad.

Thank God for these WhoCallsMe boards; they have been so helpful in the past & now just by entering the phone number into Google. The message for this number was left on my answering machine; what made it sound like it *might* be legitimate is that the caller had my full name, which is rather unsettling. That bothers me. I won't post my full real name here :-) but call myself Milton Drake. I will post the caller's name although I'm sure it's fictitious. I couldn't understand all of the words but wrote down the message as follows: "Milton Drake, this is special investigator Marcus Wright. I am contacting you in regards to a complaint being filed against you for [???] claim and affidavit #B2O1701 where you have been named as a respondent in a court action and must appear. I have a contact number on file which you must call to receive information pertaining to your case: 904-270-9922 is that number. Please [?forward?] this number to your attorney in order to [???] can take the restraining order. [?And?] you or your attorney will have 24 to 48 hours to [?claim?] this matter. The claim affidavit number once again is B2O1701. Thank you and good day, Milton Drake." I could also hear other callers in the background. Now that I know it's a scam, I will answer if they call again and tell him/her I've reported them to the FBI & they can KMA!

I received the same message. They can not take you to court from Florida and most certainly cannot have you arrested for fraud over the phone.

The caller said her name was Denise Mitchell, she called from 904 270 9922. Whenever I get an Out of Area call, I let the answering machine pick it up because I know it's her goofy butt.

Ignore the calls or change your phone number. She's silly.

I got the call today wanting to talk to my son-in-law.  Said a claim has been filed against him and gave the claim number.  She said her name was Sarah MaGee.
