At this time he is targeting college students in North Carolina. He is sending a check in advance and asking his victims to deposite it into their account at an ATM and send him a receipt for his archives. The first check was intercepted by Fedex in Memphis, TN. The second check was supposed to arrive today. If a check arrives, it's going to the FBI.

This same numbet called me today and left a very unprofessional message stating that I had a lawsuit filed against me. They said to call them back but when I do the call just drops. From the sounds of it this is just a scam. But I would still try calling them at the least? Oh and the guy couldnt hardly speak english or pronounce my name. As I said sounds fishy

They have called my work and cell over 12 times in the last 24 hours. They are a scam for sure. I am now working with Local Police and FBI for Identity Theft, FCC violations, and Fraud. Do not be intimidated by them. Gather as much information from them as you can. I got a call from this number 323-362-6015 and they said there from acf law firm and that I owe on a payday loan and if I don't pay today the cops will be at my door in two hours to arrest me

yes i had the same call yesterday they said i owe over 3000 thousands dollars and  i had check fraud and to other frauds  for some payday loan  they told me they were going to go to my  work and take me to jail i was freaked out  so i decided to look up the number and it brought me here when i tried to call back no one pick up and a lady by the name of karren  said to leave a message.. but what i couldnt figure out  why would they tell you that you have a warrant for your arrest  that doesnt make any sense to me  i dont know what to do.  is this a scam

I have the same thing happening to me, I block their numbers & they call back from another, but I don't have a loan. He leaves a different name everytime stating that this is the last time, but calls back anyway & I lost my religion on him. I'm tired of the harassment & I keep blocking their numbers, but they won't quit, what can I do?

All you folks  have to do or say is  SEND me the paper work and it will put a stop to all there foolishness........

Over 3 years now  they have try 10 differ scams.....I just tell them if im gonna get arrested they must have my address send me the paper work.

I have also received these calls. One from a Karen and one from a Jordan Brown, both with heavy accents. They really freaked me out. I ended up calling a supervisor crying. He said it sounded like a scam, so my daughter tiptoed it and found out it is. I can't wait for them to call back. This time I will answer instead of letting it go to voicemail. I'm a 12 year veteran in corrections and I have numerous law classes under my belt to know what action I can take.

These people have, had me scared, half out of my mind!  had me in tears and everything!   They gave me the same story from the cash advance place.!  They stated that I owed 645.00. I was able to talk them into letting me pay 1/2 on today then the other 1/2 on next week.  He agreed.  I western unioned the money.  Called him with the mtchn number, he stated that he was going to call me back after he got with his accounting department with my confirmation number.  He never did.  So I called him back.  He then stated that the lawyers over him would not except the money, and that I would recieve my money back within 3 business days unless I would/could come up with the balance TODAY.  I had previously explained the situation to my x mother in law (i love her), she called me back to see if everything was taken care of, I told her yes but...and proceeded to tell her what had additionally happend.  She then asked what number they were calling from. I told, her. She traced and brought me to this site.  TOTALLY A SCAM!  I am closing my accounts tomorrow.  THIS IS SOOOO SCARY!  This has to be stopped!  I sent 323.00 to them!  WOW.

this has happened to me yestereday and today i called back and asked what i was being sued for and he said that a payday loan company said that i stole money from them and hadnt paid it back and then he started yelling at me saying why didnt i have an attorney and why would i steal money!!! i did try out for a payday loan but i got denied.... i said some very vulgar things to him and told him i new it was a scam.....

Oh my, this happened to me, said he was from ACS Law Firm too, He started saying I was going to be arrested for defrauding a cash advance.  I asked him where this loan from and he couldn't tell me, left me on hold and as I called the number back, it went to a Karen answering maching service. He said it was Pay Day Loans but I never got a loan form them. I am glad I researched this and see that it is a scam. India accent guy. Seeing all of this, I notified my local State Police Dept, they are going to investigate the number and will get back to me. They advised me to have the number blocked. I knew it was strange that they want me to verify my SS # and my banking info.... Good luck to each one of you

I received a call from them today, same as you guys he had a strong Indian accent the guy who answered the phone said his name was Jordan Brown & he put me on hold so i could speak to a "lawyer" who stated his name was Baxter Cruz....he then stated that i was being sued for $3,480.53 ! I started to get upset ! I told him i applied for a loan online but never received ANY funds i view my account EVERYDAY....he seemed like he got agitated an told me "Well here is what you can do, Go to the police office so you can be arrested!" and hung up on me. I knew it was spam but it scares me because he has the last 4 digits of my social security number if not the whole number.....something has to be done !

They called me @ work, what they didn't know is that I'm a Deputy. After they called me, I called our fraud investagation unit.  They threatened to sue me if I didnt send them money.  Good luck with that.

These people have been harrassing me for the last 2 days. I never answer calls from numbers I do not know and he just keeps calling. This man has a very strong Indian accent and can barely speak a lick of English....now if it were a TRUE law firm they would send you a written notice in the mail and give you options of  you can pay. This is a SCAM and they want you to verify your bank info and your SS#...DO NOT DO THAT!!! These people are crazy!!!

I have the same EXACT situation except I knew it was a scam from the start,no law office I have ever heard of will let its' employees curse and scream at people Smh I hung up on them repeatedly and blocked them from phone number this is ridiculous who can I report these people to?

I have received multiple phone calls from this number today at my job.  He asked me for my personal phone number and I told him that if he did not have my number then he did not need it.  He then asked me if he could give me a number and me call him back.  I told him sure he gave me the number and then proceeded to tell me to call him right now.  I said excuse me but I will call you when I get time and not until then.  Then I hung up.  I then researched the ACS law firm as well as the phone number 323-362-6015 and my research showed that this was a scam.  He then called me back a few hours later at my job and I gave him the local police department number to call me on.  I guess he must have called them but then he called my cell phone number and I have no clue how he got my number.  I did not answer when he called and I do not plan on answering it. The IDIOT does not even realize that he is calling a ligitimate law firm when he calls my job.  I am going to let him speak to my attorney the next time he calls me.

ALL THIS HAPPENED TO ME TOO! For the past couple days, I have had the 323 number call me with someone of the name Jordan Brown. I got a call saying that  i oue money to a pay day loan. and they said they was going to send a officer to my door. I said they would have to because i didnt oue it. He got mad and hung up the phone. I put the phone number on the web and this site  to check to see whos number it was and i told him that im reading that this phone number is a fould he didnot know any thing about that.and i said i didnt know any thing about that money. The caller who first call me said his name was steven smith. But thats not who i talk to. Watch ou out for this phone number i saved the voice  message on my phone.

THE SAME THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME AND I HAD ALSO SIGNED UP FOR PAYDAY LOAN

A man named daniel scott called and said i needed to contact him involving a legal action he left his name and number. So i called the the man he had all my personal info and bank info he reas to me.He said i owe some money and that i was going to be arrested if not paid i told him he nad the wrong person and how did he get all my information. He said loans were filled out in my name online and i just hung up. A man name dan wilson left me a message saying i needed to contact him but i never did. Then i started recieving unknown and calls from 3233626015 from a daxter cruz saying i was going to be arrested and for defrauding cash advance company called cash advance america. He said he was an attorney and he was trying to recieve the funds from my bank but nothing was there.He said he was going to send papers to courthouse and police was going to arrest me. He said his company was going to sue me for $10,000. I told him it wasnt me and someone must have gotten a hold to my information some how. He said it was happening to alot of people and has to be paid. I asked him how could i avoid being arrested and sued he said i have to get these prepaid cards that i foung out you cant trace and send funds to them with a fax and picture i.d. also that i pay the amount and what date with and signature. He said he was going to call me back after he lets higher authorities know i paid money and that everything was going to be resolved. I ended up giving them about $722 maybe more. I finally told my family and friends what was going on when he called back saying it was a second loan and i had to pay $500 or they were going to send all my money back. My family and friends said something wasnt right and i needed to contact my bank to find out whats going on. I went to my bank told my banker everything that was going on he checked my account activity and said he didnt see anything from cash advance or that fake company trying to get money out of my account. My banker said it sounded like a scam and i gave him the man number and name. He called and nobody answered just a voicemail that said karyn and my banker said it wasnt even a business voicemail. So he googled the phone number it everything that popped up said scam also its a cell phone same with acs law firm and thats when we sy comments and stories. My banker told me to close my bank account which i did and put a freeze on my ssn also report to police dept which i did. After i found out it was a scam the man kept calling my phone my mom answered and said police was tracing phone call then he called a couple hours later so i got unknown and his number blocked from my phone.I have learned and know alot more i am done with banking and this internet thing people can get your info and you never know what will happen and i young adult who just graduated and starting off. ITS ALL A SCAM!!!

I just rec'd the same phone call, strong accent.  I told him to tell me what the lawsuit was about.  He said he couldn't.  I said if you can call with a threat then you can give me some more information.  I suggested he finds another job where he knows what his duties are and he should probably learn to speak english before he calls again.  I let him know I would not be calling the number he left for me and if HIS attorney would like to speak with me........his attorney can call me........
