I answered the phone and there is no response besides a recording saying not to hang up someome will be on the line shortly. Then I'm disconnected.

Glad to see all these posts before i called them back. these ppl have been calling me for a few weeks now and as i dnt pick up for numbers i do not kno normally they just hang up, yesterday left a message on my machine saying who they are., n for me to call nothing else. now i kno they r scammers machine can keep picking up.
My husband was hurt at work a few years bac n after numerous bac surgeries has finally been able to go back to work full time, i stay home with the baby, when he was hurt i paid the normal bills out of my check but had to let cc go. no way i could pay it all. so i kno i kno i do owe sombody somewhere. but i am paying 1 atm to a diff. co mayb i should look them up too. >.><. even if these ppl were legit i couldnt pay them now as i am paying a dif. old debt off.
but they call like every 30 min, so annoying.

I just had fun with them.  After numerous calls this week, I answered and waited on hold.  When a woman came on the line, I turned it into a phone sex call asking her some very lewd questions...but she hung up.  That was quite fun.  I'm going to start answering ALL of their calls now and do that.  They don't seem to listen when I let them know that I've had this phone for over a year now and the person they're looking for is in no way associated with this number.

323-372-6321 calls a few times a week. I use a TeleZapper telephone to hang up on their automatic, computer generated calls.

Receive calls from this number at least three times a day. When I answer they do not say anything.  I do not owe any money so I don't know what they could be trying to collect.  How can I keep these people from calling?

I jsut talked to someone from this number and they are saying that they are tryn to collect debt from someone in my family... I understand that these people want there money but when i called the number back playin to be the person they are looking for they didnt say the business name they just answered "Hello". I asked her to remove my number from there services and she told me that she was attempting to collect debt from CHASE. SO as we spoke i told her to just remove me fromt he callers list and she goes well the account in question is overdue 2000 dollars but we sill settle the debt for you for 450. I said no and asked her again to remove my number and she said why dont you just pay your bill and i told her F off B and if she was professional she would have hung up... Why did she cuss me right back out??

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone & they hung up when I asked who it was.

Got a call from this number again today. I'm very thankful for these websights that explain these unexplained and persistantly annoying phone rings.

They just call on my cell phone and hang up when I answer.  They just seem to want to use up my minutes for some reason.  No clue as to why.

THEY ARE AWEFUL!!!!!   They hang up when I say my husband is not here.... they are rude, they yell and they use 3 different numbers tht they call from. They have called 3 times already today!!!  I want them to go away but I never have a chance to ask them anything cause they hang up on me "right away!!" You are saying they are a collection agency??  I don't owe any debts and my husband does not either. Both of his parents just passed away in the past few months.  He does not need this added stress to his life and neither do I!  What can I do to get them to stop calling??  THANKS!

This number calls me everyday. When I answer they tell me there is an "important message" and request that I hold on the line (cell phone). After about ten calls from them I finally held on the line for about six or seven minutes. When they finally picked up they told me that they are a collection agency in Chandler, AZ called "Allied." They were calling in regards to a credit card balance from 1994 that was paid at the credit card company level when I was eighteen (31 years old now). I told them to take all the cell phone minutes of mine they have burned by keeping me on hold and call it even.

Call everyday sometimes twice a day.  No message.  Just annoying

I have been receiving calls from this number also,  I don't answer strange phone numbers.

I have had two calls from this number in the last two days.  I did not answer either time as I dont' answer calls from strange numbers.  I"m glad I looked here to see who they are.

More swine that should be rounded up and sent to an "undisclosed" location.

Here is what I found on this collection agency:

"Allied Interstate is a well known for unscrupulous collections business. We have no accounts anywhere as our religious beliefs forbid us to have credit. So there is no way we could be on their radar. when informed they have a mistake, their callers utter profanities, including the ubiquitous "F you". I did some checking and discovered many people, including other lawyers have complained to the police, the Business Bureau, the courts, to the attorney general of almost every state, and we find they are rated the most unscrupulous business - and their collection service is NOT a LEGAL ONE. They are scamsters who get phone lists and use harassment techniques to get people to send them money on bogus claims. What's up Dallas, why do you allow these people to do business from your town. KICK THEM OUT!"
