same story as everyone else. up to 5 calls a day. now i schedule an appt usually at 430 on a friday afternoon so they have traffic getting to and from and when they get here meet them outside and tell them they have wasted so much of my time , now i am wasting yours. I tell them the telemerketers they use are slime and wastes everyones time.  I tell I will do it again and again until they take me off the list.
the sales man said tell them you are a renter and they will stop calling.  we'll see.

The only you are going to stop them is the next time they call set up appointment for them to meet you, but also call up the California contractors board first.  When they come out, the Cal board will be there to meet them and arrest them on the spot

It's not a robbery scam, just a scam whereby a sleazy general contractor lines up a job, upsells the daylights out of the unsuspecting homeowner, then hires out the job to whomever, who often are terrible craftsmen. Meanwhile the caller is laughing all the way to the bank on the up-sells they sold you, frequently changing their name, and using fake addresses for their registered agents to make it difficult to sue them.

Another day, another call from "California Design Center." Today they spoofed the fax number 310-996-8991 for a pediatric office in LA.

Setting up an appointment is often the only way to learn the IDENTITY of who is really calling.

Three years of calls from this random company. Never an answer when I call back and they never leave messages.

Have gotten calls from Design Center and many other home contractors. For some reason, this particular industry (incl. DP Exclusive, Top Design, The Building Center etc.) feels they are exempt from the Do-Not-Call Registry. And as has been noted, they hang up on you if you bring the DNCR up at all. So now, I go ahead and book an estimate appointment at a phoney address on my street saying there's a typo on my address that they have. When they call because there's no house there, I send them to a second phoney address. When they call again I say there's a mixup and ask to speak to the manager or the person who called in the first place. I tell that person I changed my mind and don't want to do business with people who lie to me, disrespect me and intentionally brake the law, or as I call them, criminals. The Government doesn't give a damn about the DNCR law. So I say, take it upon yourself to waste as much of their time as you can and let them know why at the end. Of course all they will offer is to take your name of their list and not deal with why you were called in the first place. Just do not ever let them come to your home.

There is another blog complaining about this company referring to themselves as the "Design Center".  I am starting to think this is a robbery scam, calling every so often to see if people are home.  Their website does not have any content, no address, only an 866# that does not work.

it's Classic Furniture in Dundrum, Dubiln. I had stuff delivered by them which took ten bloody weeks then two of the chairs were damaged and i'm still waiting for them to collect and repalace.

Asked if we needed any work on our house......number was never answered on call back.

These jerks call me too. Now with increased frequency. They keep calling, even if you ask them to stop.

They call every single day, sometimes twice.  I have told them every time to put me on a do not call list and to stop calling, but they just hang up on my face.  

I have started filing a complaint after every one of their calls.  The FTC won't solve individual complaints, but if there are enough complaints, they'll take action against the company.
