Got a text from Candace saying I got the job for a Sprint commercial. Did a conference call, got a text saying Congrats I was chosen and need to speak with " Patrick O'Neal". Was told I need paperwork done, must register via castingusa.info for $60 then email Laura Stephens the director of Sprint's ad campaign.

Well, I always do my research...came across this site, and of course didn't pay. Save your time and money. I cannot stand a scammer!

In 2 days got a "you got the job text", talked with Patrick on the phone. The thing is during the conference i didn't tell him im with an agency. But the second time i did say my agency name. He was talking something about the job being union and that i have time to join and it's very important to join. Finally he gave me tanyadickerson45@yahoo.com as a follow up contact.

A friend and I recently figured out about these guys. They're running the same thing but with the whole NIKE Wieden + Kennedy shoot. Got an email from an Kimberly Hudson. The whole setup was the same as most of your guys, the conference call, 60 dollar fee, the SAG paperwork, and the whole nine yards. I have another number they used 707-408-1127. I hope this brings some justice in the long run and I'm sorry for everyone's misfortune.

I also was contacted by a Kevin regarding a Kenneth Cole fashion shoot. (after answering a craigslist ad also).but was suspicious as the only communication was text messaging. I never got any contract or dates and no replies to my repeated return calls or emails. Finally a Tanya Dickerson (yes..tanyadickerson45@yahoo.com) contacted me and said if I signed up with inceptionbegins.com online agency they could 'get the paperwork done in time.' The online agency had a recurring monthly fee...first month 60, each subsequent month 10.

I emailed Tanya back that I couldn't afford a recurring fee with no contract and no definite job..what about some dates, times, contract, etc. before I signed anything ...with no job I can't pay for an agency...plus

yes you have to sign up on boss website . They indicated they have backdoor status and costs $ 60 and they will fly roundtrip for model shoot. And I have saved email from a$$ho((s . They should be in prison for preposterous scam on woman, children and men.

It is a scam, aaron smith, Nicole Whittaker, Tanya Dickerson, Teresa Cornwell all saying they are representing Calvin Klein. Call Corporate Calvin in New York and Internet Crime Paperwork. I just did and have saved every bit of phone number and email's from these people to track them down. They broke my heart to!

After I got "hired" they asked me to go to bossmodels.us which in reasearch I found is a free website made by wix.com . They wanted me to give them $60 so I could do the commercial . I am with an agency and all of it sounded legit... stated all about flying out to LA ect. if this is a scam which now i am thinking it is.. and I am very upset about it.. People are sick to crash peoples dreams like that that wanna go big with a career... but i will say all the numbers that called/texted ect. are from LA CA. so I am just confused totally.. I have emailed that Tanya and received nothing back as of now. I hope its not a scam :(

Well, Sandra.  Congratulations on getting booked on a gig by the company "New Talent Castings NY."  I looked them up...they do not exist.
As for your booking, who was the client and what was the campaign.  If it's a print job, can you provide proof via tear sheet?  If it's on-camera, again, who was the client and what was the casting director's name, what was the name of the project, did you have a speaking role, when does it air?

You see, I understand there's such things as "moles" setup to sway the people in the other direction.  I also understand that with all you said, it's too vague for any smart person to take your advise just like that.  And just the way you worded your post, it's too easy to realize that you could be an accomplice.  So until you provide proof that they are actually an Agency AND provide proof of your so-called "gig," I'm here to tell the rest of the people reading this website:  these people are running a scam.

This is a scam a got a text from 323 488 31 55 telling me that I was selected for a beauty campaign from France Black Up Cosmetics or something like that. After reading all of this I confirm it's a scam ..you are not supposed to pay fees to modeling agencies, they should offer you the job

So I've been receiving texts from chanel brown 3234883155 telling me that they wanted to hire me for a Fox show called Goodwin Games. She told me to contact Patrick Henry. During the conference call he asked about agencies and all. She texted me the next day and told me they wanted to hire me for the position. I talked to Patrick again and he said I needed to be with an agency and gave me tnyma.org. I've been modeling for a couple years now so after reviewing the website, I realized that there aren't alot of members. Then I researched the numbers and found this. I'm glad I found all of this before I actually paid the fees. This seems to be a successful scam and I hope they get shut down.

I called my credit card company and told them what was going on. They credited me the amount of $60 that I was charged and they are investigating these guys. If you have paid them and not received what you were promise, call your credit card company and fight it. Don't let these scammers get away with this.

I replied to an ad on craigslist for these guys before the All Stars basketball game. They had bunch of us on a conference call and said they had picked us from the pictures we sent them. Some of the girls were with agencies and some were not. They made sure to ask us that. I got a call back from them saying that they had picked me even though I'm not with an agency. But they said I have to sign up with tnyma.org since I am not part of any agencies. They told me I need to do this right away so they can take care of the paper work. I paid the $60 fee online at the tnyma.org and gave the information they needed. I called back after a week since it was getting close to the All Stars game and asked if I was getting my flight information soon. ( I had to call several times to even get a response) Their response was they are going a different direction now and they will just do a photo shoot with me. I never heard back from them. I checked out the tnyma.org whois directory and found out they had just set up their site in November of 2011. These guys are nothing but a scam. Don't waste your money joining tnyma.org or any other thing they tell you to join.

Yes this is a scam and I just filed a claim with the Federal Trade Commission (because of the text messages & calls) and another claim with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (because of their ad on Craigslist.)

Scams like this have to stop. I asked anyone else that has been contacted to file a complaint as well.

I am signed with a legitimate agency and no agency charges a fee!! the only thing that is charged are professional photos. And mine are gorgeous so yes I believe that this is a scam, folks! So don't fall for this and don't give up any cash because they are not legit if they ask for money!!

Hello! How did they turn out?

I replied about a sony music print ad thru philly craigslist, went thru the conf call, got picked then heard nothing.  Tanya Dickerson, Jason Wilson, Aaron White, Latoya Smith, and Britney Russell are all names of these contacts.  I applied for the NBA job, conf call, got a text tonight that was picked and told to email Tanya with my agency info, including their EIN number.  It seems like a scam, I don't know if agencies would even give out their EIN?? I haven't been asked to pay money, and if that happens I won't.

Same here. I was just told by Latoya Smith that I was hired for AllStar Weekend yesterday and I STILL haven't been given any contact numbers but I realized when I tried to call the number back it was only a damn Google Internet number and it had a 404-Atlanta number. I was told to contact Jason whom I had the conference call with about a week ago.

Welp, after reading through responses im sure it's just a scam and that sucks because I was excited about the opportunity!
