This is a scam.  They keep calling and claiming you asked them to perform some home repairs or construction on your house.  They act like they personally know you - THEY DON'T.  Do not give these people any of your personal info and do not confirm anything they ask you.  They are phishing for info.  Don't let them rip you off.

Calls come from a call center that's scamming homeowners.  There's a long pause between the time you answer and the time they pick up their robo-dialed call.  They immediately LIED and claimed that I had contacted them a few months ago requesting some work on my house.  It's total bull and one of the common scams now to make you think you know who they are.  Don't do business with obvious liars.  These morons think if they keep calling and harassing me that I'll eventually give them money???  LOL

I got a call from this number soon after I'd entered my phone number on Home Depot's website for them to contact me regarding a quote on a new furnace.  Naturally I was confused at first but when he asked if I was married, single or divorced it was obvious he didn't represent Home Depot.  He said he was with a company called Home Improvement at 3rd and Western in Los Angeles.  He had my address and cell phone, which makes me wonder if someone is hacking Home Depot's website.

Keep getting calls from this number. I installed a call blocker thanks to these incessant calls. Now when they call, it's instantly blocked and they're disconnected. Taking control, thank you very much!

I get calls from this number several times daily. Usually twice a day. My phone tells me it's coming from the city of Montebello. I never answer it at all because I don't answer calls I don't have in my cell phone contacts list.
I see now from this site that they are truly a nuisance!
I'm on a "DO-NOT-CALL-LIST" ...what's up with that? It doesn't seem to do any good.

They called this morning and when I answered there was nothing.  Then a click.  So bizarre.  Are they really that bored and desperate that they call people for no reason?  Imagine how sad and pathetic their lives must be?  Just be happy you're not them.

I keep getting calls and an unprofecianal  female voice  says hello and hangs uo on the voice mail . When I call the number back the call will not go through.

keep getting calls.  reporting to Police and attorneys for harrising calls.

These people keeps calling our house, we get calls everyday saying that they came by to talk to us about some work being done around the house, I've told them that is not true as we just had the house remodeled and painted and we never contacted them. These people keep calling, sometimes it's a guy and sometimes a girl. These people are scammers and I'm sure others know this. I keep trying to call the number and it says that my call is unable to go through. I will fix this real quick by contacting my friends and family in law enforcement to find out who this number belongs to. Ridiculous!

(323) 485-9933 has been calling me every day and not leaving any message.  I finally got sick of the calls and answered.  There was a long silence at first (obviously a robo-call)... then some guy pretended like we knew each other.  He said I gave him my number (which is a LIE - I never give out the number on this unlisted line).  I asked who he was and he said his name was Rob Goldman (which is a different name than other people are reporting from this number).  He never told me what company he supposedly worked for.  He said he was "checking back with me" on construction projects for my home.  I don't know this guy, I don't deal with people I don't know, and I certainly don't give them any private information.  I told him to stop calling me every day and hung up.  If these jerks persist in calling me every day, I'll report this number to the police and to the PUC as a harassment complaint.

YEP !  Thanks to all of those who posted before me.  Got a call last week, around 2pm or so.. Work nights, so sleeping during the DAY is important..  Was awake, but not THAT awake, if ya get the idea.  The guy calls and says my NAME first thing, which caught me off guard.  Still trying to remove cobwebs from my brain and before any coffee, I knew I had to stall in some way.  So he used MY NAME, and if I said YES, or WHO'S CALLING, that would've confirmed my name to him.  Anything OTHER than "wrong #" would've given everything away.  Anyway, he said his name was "Bob White and he'd been working on kitchen re-do's in my neighborhood and "I was nice enough to see him and give him my # awhile back, so what do I have in mind regarding a remodel" etc.  All that is crap!  I re-did my kitchen years ago, with no need to hand my # out to ANYONE!  So, I had to stall for time..  So I paused and said "I didn't get your name.."  CLICK went the phone, with no call back with an excuse that the line dropped or whatever.

needed to confirm MY NAME with THAT #.  The caller ID box I have has a blocking function on it!   Worked this afternoon !  Keep calling and I'll keep blocking your backside!

Oh my God....these jerks are driving me nuts.  I finally picked up one call and they tried to claim *I* contacted them around Christmas regarding work on my house. I told them I wasn't interested and take me off their list and then the guy hung up on me.  Yet - I'm still getting calls daily from this number.

Called me on my unlisted number which is hooked onto my fax. computer and also has a phone in the guest room. The got the fax signal and took time to hang up from the sound of the beeps....thought it might be a robocall...

I have been getting too many of these jerks calling me asking for construction projects. Have all the people who used to do internet phishing scams gone into this line of equally asinine work?

Caller ID showed 323-485-9933. They call every few days, never leave a message on the machine, and both times I answered, pleasantly, with the intention of finding out who it was (and eventually asking them to take us off their list), they just hung up without engaging in conversation. Second time was a slick-sounding young woman, who also hung up after she said "hello hello."
If they don't want to talk--WHY DO THEY KEEP CALLING? (We pay for an unlisted number--AND are on the "Do Not call" registry...)

Some guy called and said he was "laying some flooring a couple of blocks away and wanted to know if I wanted some work done."    He said his company was LS builders or something like that.   I asked for a business phone number but he wouldn't get me one.  My caller ID showed 323-485-9933.  He's just a telemarketer in my opinion.  If they won't give you a call back number then they are not legitimate.  I'm making a complaint.
