Same her in Ontario, Canada. Wanted to buy an item I posted on Kijiji. Was willing to pay full price plus $200 to ship the item to West Africa to his son... for his wife. Also communicating through 646-470-7024. After reading this I backed out of the transaction and he then tried to call me to prove he was ligit.

I got the same crap from this guy - I posted an item on Craigslist, he responded and would pay 3x what I was asking if I could ship it to Nigeria. RED FLAG, RED FLAG - DANGER!!! Said he send the payment to Paypal - I got what 'appeared' to be a 'real' email but upon further review it was NOT from Paypal so I reported it as a phishing scam. Buyer beware - this is a scam and do not be taken in. Don't click on anything in the email - just forward it to spoof@paypal.com. I hope it falls under the federal laws so if they can be caught they can go to the 'big house'!

Yeah I got the same call today from this caller in regards to my add on Craigslist. Says he's overseas and is for his wife in Ohio. Wanted to scam me using Paypal. Avoid at all costs! Paypal will reverse all payments within two weeks.

Guy texted me saying that he wanted to buy my item on craigslist. He texted me saying that it was for his fiance coming back from from west africa. He even said he would pay 100 dollars more than the selling price. Yeah, sure you will.
