I had a 7.98 charge on my credit one card on 9/9/9.  Apparently they are going thru 16 digits in sequence and faking charges. I have filed a dispute.  This should probably be reported to the FBI.

I just had a $1.98 charged to my credit card to a Select Design Art... Never heard of it..Called my credit card company. Having to get a new card and file a fraud form through them.

On credit card statement:

SELECT DESIGN ART 323-529-8521 CA      $4.98

<3 google, canceled card.

A charge from Select Design Art just showed up on our company credit card.  $4.98 unauthorized with the phone #323-529-8521 in CA.  The statement is dated 10/16/09

Report these guys to your bank ASAP. I called Wells Fargo and they agreed it was fraud without question. Takes 5 minutes.

same thing happened to me today. and bank of america did absolutely nothing. glad i check my account as often as i do.

20 mins after I logged on to check different secure sites I use, I received notice of a 4.95 to my husbands cc. I do recall a popup that got thru my spyware to become a secret shopper but I deleted it. I don't know how they got my husbands Suntrust bank card number as it is nowhere on my computer ever. We never use that card. it was only for emerg.

Why are victims posting that "Select Design Art" is in California ?. Does the abbrevation "CA" show up in the line item charge ?

Can someone post the exact line item charge as it appears, Please.

Same thing just happened to me today.  A charge for $1.98 on my VISA from Select Design Art in Laguna Hills, CA.  Received the same number and got nothing but a busy signal.  Will be cancelling my card today!

I too had $4.98 taken out of my Chase checking account today from Select Design Art. Since I check my account twice a day (morning and late evening), this was not shown on my checking account until this morning (10-6-2009). I had my card canceled and filed a dispute with my bank. The bank manager told me that numerous people had been calling her to dispute the same transaction from the same company. She said she would notify the Fraud Department and inform them about this company and perhaps they could
put a block on this company. I last used my debit card at a grocery store (Giant Eagle) so I am unsure how my info was gleaned. Anyway, my card is no longer active and I will receive a new card in about 5-7 days.

Hi: I've got a similar unwanted transaction. Does anyone else here who has a "Select Design Art" transaction own an iPod/iTouch? Those prices are the same prices as apps in the iTunes Store. I wonder if we've been scammed by a bad developer?

Just found a charge on our account for $4.98.  This was my husband's card and the only company he used it for was Rivalry Nights/Hot Import Night tickets. Did anyone else that had one of these charges also do busines with Rivalry Nights or Hot Import Nights?

I just got off the phone with my bank too.  I just cant figure out how they got my card number.  Anyone have advice on how to file and with who?  FBI?

Its a scam. call you r bank and tell them you want it investigated as fraud. these jokers hope no one cares about a few dollars and does nothing about it. Its actually a felony and a federal one at that.

I just found a similar charge on my business checking account with Key Bank.NO phone call...I tried calling the phone number on the charge which had a 0 in front of it.  It rings a busy signal.  I had to cut off that card number, which costs me plus file legal paperwork to have it reversed.  This is really making me mad.  They cost me money when they are running a scam...I wonder if anyone has filed a complaint in California against that phone number.  I will bet someone at that number knows about the scam.

OMG...I just had the same thing happen to me! I saw an unautorized charge for $4.98 on my bank account online and immediately called about it. They said the merchant was "Select Design Art" and that it was a computer software company. They gave me the phone number and I got a busy signal. I just called the bank back and had them cancel my card. Whew! I feel better now! Hope no one else gets scammed like this!!

I just found this on my account. However, no phone number. After calling the bank they advised me that this is probably a charge scheme and they test the account one month with a small amount to see if it is active. Then they try again the following month with a much larger amount. I cancelled my card.

Was billed 4.98 from this company-attempted to call-no answer-when it did it was an answering phone for an attorneys office-I contacted the fraud Dept of my bank for an investigation.

I just found out about this weird charge and I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm going to file a dispute too. Let me know what happens.

Same issue as ivy above, except mine occurred 9/25/09, i called bank of america and told me to call the number first otherwise they would not do anything ..

I never received a call from this number... Instead, Select Design Art showed up on my online transaction history with this number posted beside the name, (0323-529-8521.)

They took $4.98 from my Chase account. I filed a dispute just now... schemers! --But, at least I know I'm not the only one thanks to Google and online banking..

I called the number and also got an auto accident attorney office.

WOW! I thought i was the only one! I also got a charge on my bank account from an alleged "Select Design Art" for $4.98! I called that number (323-529-8521) and the guy that answered said that he owned at attorney's office and that he had just been given that number for his office use. He claimed to know nothing about the Select Design Art! Weird.

I had the same thing.  Select Design Art  323-529-8521 showed up on my bank statement with the $7.98 charge.  Definitely sounds like a scam, but how did they get the number?  Calling the bank now.
