Who is using this number?
Joshua 2010-06-03 07:03:46 Unknown
I was smart enough to not fall for this. But you should really just blame yourself for being dumb and greedy thinking you can earn an unbelievable amount of cash working for an illegal business.

PS The ad I saw was not a ESCORT agency. It was for driving dancers"stripper" to their gigs and being security. It sux either way
Dylan 2010-05-17 20:35:49 Unknown
They placed a ad in my local craigslist. thye have the same scam going 300$ deposit of fees you recover from the gig. you get to recover your deposit at the end of the night. It rang all kinds of bells with me so I looked up scams from this number. I hate shady people, Theyre stealing from hard working people looking for honest jobs. I used to do this kind of work years ago and it is good money but I NEVER heard of putting a deposit down. I feel so bad for the people who fell for it. Thanks for posting this guys. These shady people will get busted.PS Google the number and these b*****ds have ads all over the country.

Is there anyone from LA posting here? I need someone to link with to pass on info to a cop i'm interacting with online whose jurisdiction is LA.
Trevor 2010-05-16 20:28:02 Unknown
Thanks for posting this information, I was hoping to make some extra cash this week and caught a whiff of BS from the lady on the phone. Nice to know I'll be saving myself some cash. They are still using the 602-6977 number. I noticed that Backpage has already been contacted, is there anything we can do to prevent them from posting?

This just happened to me last night, Friday, May 14, 2010. The caller's name was "Sara Miller" and the MoneyGram went to a "Jacob Konig" and the business was called "5 Star Entertainment". Alina, I've already sent you an email. I will now be contacting local PD, LA FBI, and cyber fraud online reporting. You may all reach me at zipitdotcomdotorg@msn.com....
CK 2010-05-15 19:52:47 Unknown
David, do you have an FBI Case no. ? I was one of the most recent victims. I also have information I paid to get as to the owner is of the 323-602-6977 phone number. If anyone is interested, please email me at zipitdotcomdotorg@msn.com (yes... this is a real email address!)

Other places to complain are www.OnGuardOnline.gov, www.ftc.gov/sentinel and www.lookstoogoodtobetrue.com. Also did anyone else have them reply as Star Entertainment? I did some research calling the wrong one star entertainment worldwide but she directed or told me there was one that used to be in Nevada that dealt with escorts and they get a lot of calls confusing the two. Now the escort service is out of business there, but could these guys be the same company under a different pseudonym?
Alina 2010-05-10 05:50:38 Unknown
You know what Barrett It was not about greedy ness there are hardly any jobs right now and we do not need to deal with your kind of attitude towards this situation keep your negative thoughts to ur self
Alina 2010-05-10 05:47:07 Unknown
contact me at alina_laffey@yahoo.com and I will walk you through what needs to be done
Barrett 2010-05-08 05:26:44 Unknown
I doubt these people will get caught. It's really your fault you guys were greedy thinking you'll earn a lot of money working for a prostitution company. You have no one to blame but yourself. And good thing I didn't fall for their trick. I know better.
Alina 2010-05-06 03:27:38 Unknown
Yes they will get caught contact me at alina_laffey@yahoo.com
pissed 2010-05-04 19:51:18 Unknown
Had replied to a job on craigs list for a driver position for an escort service. they wanted a 300 dollar deposit for a 4-600 dollars a night. I spoke with Sarah does this sound familiar?
Derek 2010-05-01 02:13:19 Unknown
I would really like my $300 back I feel like an idiot....this was a very smart scheme, very believable. Couldnt have come at a worse time.
Greg 2010-04-23 18:49:40 Unknown
Alina have you found someone who will listen to and do something about this scam? Could you alert me at my email serumcure@yahoo.com?
Greg 2010-04-23 18:46:13 Unknown
Who and where can I report the crime so I can do something about this? Should I contact the FBI online?
Jason 2010-04-19 06:28:27 Unknown

i got hit too!!!!!!!!!!! this f@#$en B^&sh!!!! well i can say this wasn't a good one but i was stupid for falling into this mess,
Randy 2010-04-16 23:49:23 Unknown
It's not being negative. I'm just stating the truth. This scam has been around for over 15 years and I'm glad I wasn't stupid enough to fall for it. Anyone falling for it is obviously greedy, thinking they can earn over $1000 per night working for an illegal business. Trust me, FBI won't do anything about it. They're only saying they'll do something about it so you people will stop bugging them. Think about it. If FBI were to do something about this, they would've catch these idiot scammers 15 years ago! Therefore, it's your own fault that you lost $300 cause you believed what these stupid scammers told you. Like I said, I'm glad I wasn't stupid enough to deposit money to anyone in order to be hired. That's the dumbest trick in the book!

Sound like a damn untraceable burner phone.
