He's a stupid Nigerian scammer who responds to sales ads from just about anywhere offering to pay you more than what you're selling your goods for to hook you up..........obviously people aren't stupid enough to fall for his tricks are they? (lol)

Unbelievable. I found this site by searching "Dencia" and "Don Pedro oil rig"

How does this scumbag not change up his story. I wrote him back and told him he was a complete waste of skin and shame on him for scamming people the day before Thanksgiving.

Now going by Daniel Dorris, contacted me following an item I posted on Craigslist. Same story about working for Don Pedro, currently being offshore, and wanting to buy the gift for his son. Very quick and consistent about asking for your PayPal account information.

yep ol' don pedro is trying to get my Harley. canceled paypal account 12 hours after 3 of the same scam. he makes 25+ lost count. pissed me off so I gave him old paypal acct which has been deleted for a month, but of course he got right back to me saying money is in my acct. what a f@#k  wad!

Just got a text from the same number 678-619-1029..same scam artist.....from don pedro....Scumbag.

Some clown calls himself Johnson Chandria who is serious in buying my memorabilia collection buying it for his son and that he is an engineer for Don Pedro offshore oil and currently onboard. He notes that it would be a surprise birthday gift for his son and would pay $125K with no problem. He wanted my e-mail address and paypal account to pay right away. He also noted he would send an agent to pick up. I HATE SCAMMERS!! Does he think I was born yesterday??

Thank you for this chat site.  I received a text  (678) 619-1029  from this engineer who was working for Don Pedro offshore oil and wanted to purchase my item for his dad as a surprise.  He too was persistent and wanted to pay full price without seeing the item.  I then told the con, if your sincere you may purchase the item but I will not be involved with Western Union and he was responsible in making transportation arrangements to pick up item.  I never heard back from him.

NEW PHONE Number for his scam: Got the text from 646-926-0042.

Still the same scam. Using the name Pedro, no more references to a son or gift.
Pedro asked for the lowest amount I would take for the purchase.
Pedro agreed to purchase, texted that they didn't want to scammed!
And because of Pedro's work, he was working with an agent.
Asking for paypal account info.

Thanks for posting this information. I just got a suspicious email from someone who claimed to be buying my sewing machine for his son...same scam. I finally looked up Don Pedro Oil and found your posts. I sent back an email saying the transaction was cash only.

This guy is still at it. He just contacted my husband today about his boat on Craigslist. Said he works for Don Pedro offshore and wants us to pay him through PayPal. Too bad my husband works on oil rig so he is about to mess with him asking if he can get my husband hired on! What can we do about this guy?

He tried the email approach with me from my CL ad.  Again wanting to buy my camper as a surprise birthday gift for his "first son".  And wanted me to set up a pay pal account, he would pay all expenses and have his agent pick it up.  Thank God for the safety tips on CL.  The old saying is true, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

Got the same thing I'm in Australia and use a similar web page to Craigslist called gumtree. Said he was an engineer for don pedro on an oil rig. Said his name was Craig, I did a quick IP trace on the email he sent me and it originated from Moffett Federal Airfield - NUQ, 158 Cody Road, Mountain View, CA 94035, USA.. Googled it but there is not much info on it. Any of you guys know anything about this place or maybe he sent the email with some special software to hide the real IP address.

Same Sh*t different day, I am selling a boat, and got a text from this buy. Hes an engineer for don perdo, he want paypal email and send his agent to pick up the boat. Thanks all for the heads up here, beware all. His phone # is 302-248-5495

I've been dealing with the same scam since yesterday. I'm trying to sell my boat on craigs list and this is what's happening. His emails are constant. He also wants me to open a paypal account so he can pay thru it. He even sent me the paypal website with instructions.... Can you beleve this clown...
How can we stop these people? Or can we....

Well he's still at it got a reply about my boat on Craigslist, same MO, offshore oil,Paypal account, sons birthday, etc. What i saw to alert me was to replies to the add with the same e-mail address but different name. So I goggled  Don Pedro and was directed to this site. Thanks to you all!!

The same guy just text me about my car I am selling on Craig's List. Said he is offshore working for Don Pedro oil and that he wants the car as a Christmas present for his son. Demanded my PayPal account number. Is using the number (347) 470-9837. I will also send him this website. What an idiot.

I got the same text from 202-670-3258. He said he wanted to buy my motorcycle for his son. He said he was an engineer from Don Pedro offshore oil. All I needed to do was give him my Paypal info.

We just had the same thing, wanting to buy our Jeep for his son as a surprise, said he was off shore he would pay using paypal.  When he didn't question the price we figured there was something not right, googled the company don pedro and found you all.  Thanks goodness for the internet, people are dumb a***s!!!  P.S. cell phone number he used was 202 670 3258

Got the same text from this do***e bag, telling me his name was Randy Nguyen and want to buy my truck for his first son as a birthday present. Text me from a 202-630-3259 number. He demand me to give him my paypal email address after every text. So glad I found this website. I ask what he was wearing and offcourse text me back asking he don't understand until I send him a picture of this site. Shut the prick the F*** UP!

I too have been contacted concerning a vehicle I have on Craigslist. Steven Evans, texted me from 347-470-9837. I wonder if this can be investigated by the police?

We have a 5th wheel for sale on craigslist and got the same type of msg that he works for don pedro oil offshore company and wants to buy it for his first son bday. I called pay pal and they said possible scam, even if you do gve out your paypal info they can't do anything with it. But yea scammer for sure, To bad there wasnt a way to make him stop.

Texted me last night from this number (1-202-630-3259) said he was perfectly fine with my asking price on my land rover and really wants to buy it as a surprise car for his first son. Sounded fishy to me so I looked up don pedro offshore oil company & came across all these posts!

a 202 number....said he was an engineer for Don Pedro and wanted my banjo as a surprise gift for his son.  He's demanding my PayPal information.  I'm glad others reported.

We just received similar messages for a yacht we have for sale--- one from Randy Nguyen and others from 515-992 6078.   I was suspicious immediately when area code was Iowa and that he would buy the boat unseen....mmmpppphhhh.   I am in process of finding the best way to report the phisher/scammers.

I recieved the same texts of him wanting to buy my car as a surprise day gift for his son.  He is using this number as well(202)630-3259. He tried to gain info about my paypal saying he was going to pay me through that for my car. This all occured on 2/17/2013
