Complaint: 08/02/2012: I called them once for an estimate on a job. I did not contract with them for the job. They also passed my name along to 2 other companies with the same owner. The calls are from a call center they operate.
The calls from Triangle Construction and Crown Home Center seem to have the same phone number block. Their pitches are identical. Apparently, they are both owned, at least in part, by the same guy, Ofir Cl. When I accepted an appointment for a bid, from one company, the other contacted me because they "heard I wanted some work done". To say that they are not connected is disingenuous at best.

Complaint: 06/04/2012: Consumer alleges company has not refunded their money form a canceled transaction. On 4/10/12 consumer signed up for service with Roy from the company to do service on the consumer's counter tops in their home. The consumer paid the company a $2000 deposit for the work. There was a three day waiting period for the consumer decide if they wanted to go through with the work. The consumer chose to cancel the service on 4/11/12. The company had already cashed the check on 4/10/12. Roy form the company came back to the consumer's home and received a signed and date cancelation form from the consumer. He then contacted the company and placed them on speaker phone to confirm the cancelation of the service. Consumer was then advised he would receive a refund with one week of cancelation. As of date consumer has yet to receive a refund.

Complaint: 01/09/2012: Consumer alleges: They installed a sink in my kitchen and the caulking was not done correctly. I had to call them to come back and redo it, which they did, but it keeps coming off and needs to be redone again. Also, when they installed the faucet, they put it too close to the wall and I can't clean behind it. I have been calling them since April and they keep telling me they don't have time to fix it and will contact me. I called them again in October 2011 and they still haven't come back to re-do the caulking and adjust the sink. I need them to complete the work properly.

Complaint: 05/20/2011: Was called by this company and as soon as I said I was not plannig in any work, I was hung up on. The phone number they used cannot be called back. Called the company HQ's in Los Angeles and spoke with a Barbara who would not give her last name. She said she would look into it but had to go becuase it was time for to get off of work.

Complaint: 12/30/2010: Contracted company (Crown Home Center, Inc.) in writing with a $430.00 deposit on 10/20/2010 to install a hardwood floor on 11/01/2010. One the aforementioned date we chose the style of flooring desired and company was set to begin installation on 11/1/2010. Company contacted us on 11/01/2010 and stated that the had not yet obtained the flooring desired and we chose another style which was set to begin installation on approximately 11/10/2010. Company never showed up and failed to return repeated calls,finally contacted on 12/6/2010. Company agreed to begin installation by 12/13/2010. Company has never shown up as of the date of this writing nor have they contacted us regarding our deposit. We are requesting our deposit be returned to us in full.

Complaint: 07/30/2010: These guys have called us over ten times - each time I have politely asked them to take us off their list - each time they say they will - BUT THEY KEEP CALLING. I even spoke to so called "supervisors" on two occasions to ask them to please stop calling. They promise, then keep calling. I don't try to even ask them anymore - I just hang up. This is harassment. BTW, we are on the National "DO NOT CALL" list as well.

Complaint: 07/13/2010: This company deploys a call center from the number (949-734-5125). I have received numerous calls from this call center, saying they are calling for Crown Home Centers. I have informed them that I am on the do not call list and requested they stop calling, but they keep breaking the law and calling me. I called the main office of Crown Home Center and the woman who answered the phone verified that they are using this call center, and apologized to me, and said she had informed the owner of the problem.

Complaint: 08/07/2012: Violates the DNC list. Company cold calls me even though I am on the DNC list. They will not stop calling.

Complaint: 03/13/2012: We initially signed a contract with Triangle Construction on May 01, 2008 and provided a $1,000 deposit. The contract was subsequently cancelled but we never received our deposit back. I have tried numerous times to contact the company, have left messages, faxed over all the information the requested. They do not return my telephone calls. Here are the recent contacts: 02.24.12 Called Left a message 02.27.12 Spoke with Emily then faxed over all the information she requested. 02.28.12 Spoke with Emily, they needed to pull file, they would contact me by the end of the week. They never contacted me. 03.08.12 Called left a message. They did not contact me. 03.12.12 Called left a message. They are yet to contact me.

Complaint: 02/24/2012: Consumer claims company was misleading. She states that she contacted your company to put on a new roof and was told by your sales department that they could be put on a payment plan with their payments being around $100 to $150.00 dollars a month so they agreed and signed the contract. She indicates she later received a bill in the mail for $13,000.00 with a 27% interest rate. She says she went back and looked at the contract and saw that the space for the rate was left blank. She has tried contacting your company several time but has not been able to reach anyone or receive a response back from your company. She is requesting your company to honor the original agreement and lower the interest rate.

Complaint: 12/13/2011: Company refuses to remove me from the call list even though I'm on all the Do Not Call lists. Judging from the comments on Yelp and elsewhere, I'm not the only person they treat this way.

Complaint: 11/09/2011: I contracted with Triangle Construction to: convert a breakfast nook to a bathroom; work on laundry room; replace hot water tank with outside tankless water heater. I'm seeking: 1. Reimbursement for items not delivered: I had to purchase vanity handles, which were never delivered. (Cost: $33). 2. Reimbursement for labor/supplies to fix problems with poor workmanship: I had to patch and repaint one wall and part of ceiling in bathroom. I had to patch newly installed fiberglass shower. (Cost: materials ~$50 + my labor/time). 3. Reimbursement for items paid in advance but delivered items worth less: I paid $2600 in advance for a vanity/sink/faucet, mirror and linen tower. The items delivered were different than the original order. (Money difference due to me: ~$1000) 4. Deliver items not easily purchased: Triangle must deliver final version of blueprints, which was included in the $1300 fee I paid for the permit and architectural drawings. 5. Compensate me for missed work time on scheduled work days, but Triangle did not arrive or call to cancel: On five different days, I too time off of work to stay home. (Cost: 5 days work/vacation = ~$1600) 6. Compensate me for project finishing late: Project schedule to be completed in 4-6 weeks in contract. Currently in week 13, and the subcontractor claims final inspection will be Tuesday. 7. Fine Triangle for fraud: Triangle cashed a check I wrote to MTD Vanities. I wrote the check to MTD so I could work w/ them to resolve issues.

Complaint: 04/26/2011: The sales person/project manager told me that his company was rated number 44 in the country and the lies did not stop there. He has refused to remove a beam that separated the two rooms and had the refrigerator build around that and everything looks utterly ridicules. And the CEO has not come out to look at the problem and we are talking about my KITCHEN. Can anyone think about how important a KITCHEN is to survive. I could go on and on about all the other problems there are including a missing necessary panel. I have signed three contracts and not one of them has been completed even though I paid for them

Complaint: 04/06/2011: Beginning on July 2, 2010, Triangle Construction has engaged in constant telemarketing to me for their construction services. They have solicited everything from window replacement to free home "evaluations". I sent them a demand letter to stop calling me and to pay the damages allowed under law. I received a response from Ofir Chanel apologizing and promising not to call again. They did not deny their actions, just apologizing. Since their reply, they have increased their telemarketing to me with yet another call today. I do not want any services from them and never have. I plan to file a suit against them in small claims court for the telemarketing damages allowed to me.

Complaint: 04/01/2011: Refusal of itemized list of repairs and upgrades. 2. Misrepresentation of upgrade in products, fixtures, hardware, and flooring. 3. Misrepresenting cost of painting interior of house and removal of popcorn ceiling. One combination of shower tile and when we asked to see more they became irate. 4. Misrepresentation of payment plan. 5. Reimbursement for remodeling from SCE. 6. Misrepresentation of Costco installation contract. 7. No copy of right to rescind given, stated he would get another copy from his car and left after papers were signed. 8. Never given any list of materials I was told I would be getting the following day, to choose items from. Threatening to put a lien on my house and ruin my credit. Triangle construction's sales representative Devi called the evening of 03/28/11 and stated that I could pay 6,800.00 for the amount of work that was completed and to get out of the contract. Threatened to put a lien on my home and interrupt my credit rating if I cancelled the contract. Threatened to take me to court and further stated when I lose I would have to pay all the court costs and still they would have to complete the work.

Complaint: 06/22/2010: I have contacted your Triangle Construction Company six (6) times by telephone in the months of April and May. I have not received a response or return call from your staff. This is a formal complaint on contract dated March 31, 2008 for the amount of $12,700. The contract was for painting and repair at 1714 St. James Place, Placentia, CA 92870. Work started on April 7, 2008. My complaint is on the quality of workmanship of the preparation and painting. There is cracking and peeling of the paint on the front of the house. The paint did not adhere properly to wood. I am asking for a representative from Triangle Construction, not a subcontractor to meet with me to resolve this issue. I am asking the preparation and painting to be completed properly.

Complaint: 04/06/2010: They continue to call us, several times a week, asking for an opportunity to quote on any construction work we may need. We have repeatedly declined and asked them to remove our phone number from their data base.

Complaint: 03/03/2010: This company violates the restrictions of the National Do Not Call Registry. They appear too cheap, too lazy or too arrogant to use the registry. Their operator was unaware that we are listed, which means they didn't bother to look or don't think it means anything.

Complaint: 12/01/2009: Triangle Construction calls me on a regular basis claiming to be from Fullerton. Today they contacted me claiming to be located in Fullerton and to be having a five year anniversary special. They are not located in Fullerton and, according to the Ca State Contractors Licensing Board, have been in business since 1998.

I have filed a complaint with the FCC because these people won't stop calling me.  I've asked them 3 times to stop and they won't.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL list and they ignore it.  If they are bothering you, file a complaint! Law enforcement will get involved if there are enough complaints!  Go to http://donotcall.gov.

Because these a$$holes have decided to call me EVERY SINGLE DAY for over a month straight, even though I have repeatedly asked them not to, I am posting here.  If they spent as much time on "Home Design" as they do bothering people, perhaps they'd have a successful business.
