For the past 6 mos. I have been harrassed by a man with a thick Eastern accent. He identifies himself these days (6/1/12) as Kevin Foster. His threats have become increasingly desparate, and over the course of time his phone #'s have changed, also. This is currently the number he has been calling from. Two days ago, he threatened arrest and sited civil code section # blah, blah.... check fraud. Told me that I was being arrested on Friday for 3 felony counts of check fraud for a delinquent payday loan.
Finally, I contacted the local police department. The officer called me and didn't seem surprised by what I told him. The officer then called the number - identified himself and called me back.

The police officer said I would not be contacted by law enforcement again. That he has seen these cons go so far as to impersonnate law enforcement. Now, having the officers name, this Kevin Foster may try to contact me saying Officer Guaguas says it is OK to pay the debt. The officer assures me this is not the case.

I received a vm from a Kevin Foster (with a starnge monotone Indian-like accent) indicating he was calling from Brook & Assoc regarding a summons on 3 felony charges & that officers were on their way to make me answer for them unless I returned the call.  I am so glad I looked this up before calling back. Fraudsters

recieved a call at home and on cell from max morris from the law firm, stating there's 3 charges against me to return the call immediatly if i did not he  would have police come and arrest me to investigate this further and wished me good luck these  ##$#$#$!!#%^ need to be stopped.

Called my business and requested to talk to me.  Owner would not put call thru.  Said it was personal matter and emergency to talk with me.  Also blocked this number from my cell because of harassment.

Got voicemails stating I have 3 (three) oustanding felony warrants dus to overdue payday advances.They say they are with a lawfirm and that a lawsuit has ben claimed against me. Called them back, they said i had 30 minutes to act or police were on their way!?  There should be laws against someone caling like that! Anyone have a answer why these calls or voicemails are made?

This is the 2nd day in a row that I have received a call from someone saying he was "Officer David Jones" and there was a warrant out for my arrest for 3 counts of  cyber fraud. I have recently moved from another state and was called when I live in the other state. This same person called threatening me claimed to be from some Legal firm, called my job also. I had stopped answering the calls until they called my job. I answered one call and told them to either sh - - or get off the pot and leave me alone.. Did not heard from them for a while now it is starting all over again. I don't answer and they leave a message. Tried tracing the call and could not, just seems to be coming out of CA. somewhere.

a reply to your message from VT, how weird is that a guy claiming to be Kevin Foster, called a co worker at work at my company, i answer all calls, and he left her the same voicemail as you..we are calling the government on him..so stupiddddd

I received a call today from this number 323-832-8360 and a man indentifying himself as "Officer David Jones" from the Cyber Crimes Division claiming there were three allegations against me and that if I did not respond, officers would be sent to my address to arrest me. This sounds like total B.S. to me tho' I don't know how he got my phone number. I'm thinking he/they are just dialing random phone numbers.

my daughter is getting this same exact phone call, stating she haas felony charges against for non payment of a payday loan and if you start questioning this Kevin foster, he gets irrate and says that the police will be coming to arrest her and then we'll see its true. my daughter has never taken out a payday loan. Its scary because he has alot of personal infomation. He is also calling her job, i've told her to info job and bank about these calls

This phone number has called me a few times.  They use a magic jack which allows them to call from different numbers and once they switch to a new number they cannot be called back.  The last time I talked to them they told me that I had a felony theft charge against me for taking a loan and not paying it back.  I never took a loan.  I told them never to call me again and they started cussing at me calling me a prostitute and asking how much for the night.  Today I received another call this time at my work.  I asked what they wanted and they said they wanted my attorney's number so they could call him about this matter.  I asked what matter exactly they were referring to.  He asked to speak to my manager so I asked to speak to his.  He put me on hold for about ten seconds when his "supervisor" picked up the phone.  I told him that I thought he was the same person I had been talking to before.  The man got snarky and started saying "oh you think we are the same people? Well I can show you that we are not.  We have two different d***s and two different balls.  We can both f*** you at the same time.  I reported them to the FTC and FBI internet crimes division.  Please report these people.  They need to be stopped!!!

I just got this call from a Kevin Forrester telling me I would be arrested on Monday because of 3 charges against me. I told him to go right ahead and I will be waiting. He then said "what do you mean by that". I said "I will be waiting, that's what I mean by that". He then said okay and hung up. All you have to do is play their game right along with them. These people are scam artist plain and simple. They can't do anything to you so don't give them ANY information.

I had been receiving calls from this number and they left message about some felony charges and arrest, which will happen to me, if I will not react. They pretended to be a law firm. Their Illiteracy and total absence of knowledge of judicial language and simple courtesy hinted me that it is a boiler room fraud operation. When I started to ask what "law firm" is this, I was insulted in a gang member's language.
Why Los Angeles police doesn't protect people from the phone attacks? Those fraudsters have even arrogance to call people's employers.

They are calling me constantly non-stop at my place of employment and on my personal cell. This is outrages and this needs to stop.

         A man called me from that 1-800-832-8360, stating that I took out a payday loan with Cash advance America, and that I was going to be arrested on April 5,2012. He then put me on hold, he
came back and said he was going to turn my file over to the police. Then he put me on hold again,
he came back on the phone and that the police would be arresting me on Monday. He ask me was
there a reason I didn't pay the loan back. When I ask him when the loan was taken out and with what
company and how much. He gave me the company name and hung up on me. There should be something we could do about this. This is not the first time someone call me saying I was going to be
arrested. I hope they get caught before someone who is older and not well and the scare that person
and something happens. Thanks

I have been getting threatening phone calls at my place of employment for the same thing, they say that I owe money to a payday loan and that there is a warrant out for my arrest if I do not pay. DO NOT give these people money this is a total scam.  How do these people get our phone numbers?  How do we stop these threatening phone calls?  I don't want anyone to get scammed from these people so please be careful and dont give money.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING THESE SAME PHONE CALLS FROM THE SAME SO CALLED COMPANY AT WORK, I FILED A POLICE REPORT. IT IS VERY SCARY, I WAS TOLD NOT TO ACCEPT ANY PHONE CALLS AND MY COMPANY HAD TO FILE THE COMPLAINT SINCE THEY WERE CALLING THE BUSINESS

I got the same call and am getting pissed that they keep calling me. When I told him I am in law enforcement he hung up so I called him back and he keep hanging up. This is a load of crap somthing needs to be done now! I wish I lived in Cali I would show up at his door.

This company has called me numberous times... They have called my cell, and my work.  It is unlawful for them to keep on doing this.  I am in danger of losing my job.  They keep saying I owe them for a payday loan when i never received one.  I am contacting the local police to put a trace on this number and my lawyer to sue the hell out of them.  I HATE THIS COMPANY....

I looked up Brooks and Associates they are an accounting agency. I told them that their name is being wrongfully used. I also looked up the area code to the number these guys are calling from. The area code is in L.A cali. So i called law enforcement there to let them know the situation. He said he would make a note. But just because they catch one or another doesn't mean it will stop. Don't give info to these people

Never give out information to people who call from these places, if they do not have your infomation they are a scam. Any bank, creditor, or any collector will have the information that is needed to collect money from you. Never give out ss or drive license etc to these people. They call my work all the time saying that they are a law firm, credit debt acgency, bill collector, friend from europe. they try all these tactics and it doesnot work for me. DONT GIVE OUT INFO TO PEOPEL LIKE THIS!

I am reporting this because my sister does not have the internet. About 30 minutes ago my sister received the 1st call from a Mark Robertson at this number. At which time he told her that "a complaint" had been filed against her and started asking for personal information. She told him she does not give out personal information and hung up. He immediately called back but did not leave a voice message. She called and told me of the call so I took the number and called them back. After letting the phone ring about 15 times and noone answered I hung up. Within a couple of minutes someone called me stating that when he answered the call it was cut off and wanted to know what I wanted. I told him that I thought I dialed the wrong number and asked what type of company he was with. He said a law firm by the name of Brooks and Associates. I apologized and said I had the wrong number and hung up.  I immediately went on line to check them out!!! Boy am I glad I did!!!! Shortly there after my sister received another voice message (we were on the phone) requesting her to call them back about a Pay Day Loan. At the end of the message he stated - he hoped things work out because of pending charges (something like that-because of broken English it is difficult to fully understand what he is saying.)She is not going to call back. BEWARE!!!

i received a voice mail as well as a phone call to my daughter's phone from some creepy guy with an indian accent  saying he was officer kevin foster and that he was from the cyber unit informing that there was a complaint has been filed against me and that i need to call and if i dont call there are goin to come to my house and arrest me

I am being called from 323-832-8360. Says his name Kevin Foster sometimes Officer David calls asking both my son-in-law and me. Claims that he is with the FBI Cyber Crimes unit. And that we have been charged with a cyber crime. If this were true, the FBI would be knocking on my door and not some guy that can barely speak English on a phone. This according to my my cousin who works for FBI. My cousin said that it is a scam and report it to local law enforcement. They should handle it from there. I have what they call a burn phone so how they got my number is beyond me.
Be careful to all who receive these calls and do not give them any information what so ever, no matter what they say. And contact your bank and local credit bureau and have your account flagged. My credit bureau set up a code for me to use when I talk to them whether in person or on phone. Hope this helps.
