Some Joker called and tried to get Identifying Information for my Credit card including pin#. This moron thought I was stupid enough to hand him the key to my vault by claiming my service would be interuppted, when I dont have an E-Fax service. These people are Identity thieves, beware.

I just signed up for Trustfax.com's trial service and within an hour got a call from this number. I did not answer so do not know if it is them, but what a coincidence.

Just received a voice mail from this number. The message said that my credit card number is no good and they need another one. I've NEVER done business with them. I say this is a scam. The Indian accent doesn't help either.
John 2013-04-19 19:47:32 Unknown
I signed up with MyFax yesterday. Today a guy with foreign accent called from this number, and asked if I had signed up for an account at MyFax.com. I said "yes", and he said "Thanks, have a good day", and hung up.

It is J2 Global dba e-fax. As others state, they called to let me know our monthly payment didn't clear. Damn credit cards!this is legit, but the callers are out of the country obviously!
Debbie 2012-10-17 16:03:34 Unknown
Some guy who could barely speak English called me and told me that they tried to charge my credit card for something and the payment would not go through. He wanted me to call back and give him my credit card info. WTF? I have no clue who these people are. I've never heard of E-fax. Definitely a scam. What the hell...do they think we are stupid?
Moonie 2012-10-12 23:32:20 Unknown
I don't have any of the efax stuff, haven't signed up for a trial. They don't have my CC info. I have debix to save my credit info. My cell phone never gets called... never. Let's see how long they call for?
Nils 2012-10-04 21:06:03 Unknown
Signed up for a free trial account with easy fax. Next day this number calls. Had my phone on silent so I did not hear it. No message..
By the way, I´m in Norway...

I think eFax bought MyFax last year
Lois 2012-09-11 16:52:02 Unknown
I received a call from this number this morning. I signed up with MYFAX.COM yesterday NOT efax. Efax has no reason to be calling me at all. This is a scam call.
jerry 2012-09-10 16:51:49 Unknown
It's eFax, they only call if they ae not able to process a payment with the credit card you give them on your account. My card was maxed so it wouldn't go through. They are a legit company.
Ree 2012-07-06 18:34:34 Unknown
This number, (323)860-9200, is J2 Global Communications / eFax. They typically call if there is an issue with your payment for your eFax account, or if you signed up for a 30 day trial, they are calling to inform you that your 30 trial period is either expired or close to expiring. They are not scammers or attempting fraud. They are a legitimate company who offers fax services. For the most part they do not ever call, unless your monthly payment is not going through. I will say, however, that they are not very professional or curteous. They will call several times in a row without leaving a message. In addition, they call during odd hours (ie. 6am, 11pm, ect.) If you do answer and want to cancel your eFax account, they become extremely annoying by making it difficult to cancel. They keep you on the phone and repeatedly attempt to try and keep you from canceling.

This phone # was used for a Paytrust bill pay account that the customer never applied for. Be sure to check your credit reports very closely for suspicious looking accounts. Be sure you applied for that credit card or service, especially Paytrust and Quicken accounts, and most especially if you bank with Wells Fargo or Bank of America.

I just got a call to let me know my trial- E-Voice is running out.
They wanted to startup/continue month to month service.
I did! It has done what I wanted for 6 months and I think they also do the e-fax.
I don't need it yet.
I have had no problems with them, if someone calls my toll free # it makes the business sound as if it is larger then it is.
I got to them through Go-daddy when I got my .com address

Just got a call from this number..it is EFax Customer Service...trying to sell me an upgrade to my electronic fax service.

got a call. I didn't answer.
LS 2011-03-10 19:32:58 Unknown
Rec'd a call from J2 Global Communications today (using this number) in regards to a letter that was sent to them about a 714# that kept calling the office. They are telling me that it is not J2 (using the 714#) but the number has been stolen from them. That number has been disabled by their company.
So hard to believe people these days.

I'm also getting calls from this number. I am currently doing a 30 day trial of eFax and am definitely going to cancel it ASAP. They keep calling and don't leave messages or answer when I pick up the phone. I am also on the National Do Not Call List...
Jesse Weber 2011-02-14 18:14:33 Unknown
J2 Global Communications IS Efax; I have had efax for years. My call what from someone impersonating Efax. Efax is legitimate business but the call is not really from them. Another scam attempt but again it's not really the company. EFax will email you if you need to update CC info and you go directly to site not links.

Correction to the company name. It is J2 Global Communications.
TelemarketersSuckBalls 2010-10-21 17:35:02 Telemarketer
The company is K2 Global Communications. I called the number back and I guess they do customer service for E-fax. I waited on hold for a moment and spoke to a woman in India. She asked me for my E-fax number so somehow they have my account information from them I am assuming so I will be filing a complaint with the FCC for selling my information to a country that is one of the largest suppliers in stolen identities in the world.
I would say answer the phone and cuss them out. The more people we can p****off not to do the job the better.
Matt 2010-07-13 18:39:48 Fax Machine
Yep,
Its EFax people, if you got a call from them its probably because you are doing business with them or someone typed your number by accident into the fax field.
Robert 2010-06-30 12:37:39 Unknown
Efax. My CC expired and they are calling for the new one. They did call at 11pm tho.

Same person as above -- and they called back another time, to tell me a fictional job did not go through, and I should confirm my credit card with them. Hah.
I conclude that E FAX IS A SCAM. These people are bottom feeders prowling for fraud victims. No reputable company would behave this way.
