Just got a "relay call" from a company relaying a message from a deaf person known as "cindy".  Asked to switch to email because I could barely understand them and got the same '30 banner order' just like everyone else.  Stopped responding to them once I came across multiple reports of banner fraud.  Don't trust any emails from cindy2333g@gmail.com

We got a call for the same over-sized mirrors that are listed above. We ran one card for $2000 and attempted to run a few more cards. It was all fishy and I feel silly for taking it as far as we did. My boss drove to the address given and it was an abandoned lot. Finally the bookkeeper google searched the e-mail address and it brought her to this site. Thank you for posting about it. Who knows what would have happened it we didn't find this. So the signs are: relay line, eager to pay, multiple (declined) credit cards, fake address, fake shipping company.

Cindy Brown just tried to buy 20 over-sized mirrors to be picked up by a freight lne as soon as we can get them ready. Same e-mail as markus in October, 2010. I asked how she was going to pick up & what they were for. Her response was very vague & said they would go to her new construction site & would be picked up by a shipping company. I deleted botyh e-mails. Sounded like a scam to begin with, I just played it along to see where it was going. She was real willing to give a credit card # real fast.

Looks like "cindy brown" is still at it.
I received this email today and it smelled like SPAM so I Googled it and this post cam up so I thought I would post her email to my company.

I received an email from Cindy Brown cindy2333g@gmail.com asking to pick up 1000 ft of PVC pipe from our warehouse, and offered to pay with a credit card. Cindy writes in very broken English. Smells like a scam to me. Thanks for posting your warnings.

Cindy Brown is still at it. She (I think "Kofi" is behind the whole thing) did the whole bit, being hearing impaired, etc... Bottom line is, do not send any Western Union payments to Ghana to Kofi (who should be hunted down)

Total Scam - Do not send money or provide any info on credit cards.  Wanted to have 30 printed banners, would pay upfront, but then requested we pay for freight - Best to just hang up or you could be out $1,000's. Email came thru as cindy2333g@yahoo.com
