BEWARE of this number! I got a phone call from this number today on my home phone asking for monetary donations for veterans. They knew my last name. The person sounded like a young guy, possibly high school age, and you could tell he was "reading his part" to solicit donations. I told them that I could not donate and hung up. I think this is a scam because the phone number begins with a local area code, probably some individuals cell phone number trying to get people to send them money.

This caller is a scam artist she called my grandmother claiming she was with the disabled veterans (after money) and the moment my grandmother said she was already helping a vet the woman hung up on her, this proves she is not with ANY known and true organizations helping Vets BEWARE OF THIS NUMBER, Report them to the BBB they are based out of Abilene i am currently trying to find out WHO the number isd registered to.
The caller was a Woman.

BEWARE OF THE PERSON CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER, THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS WHO CLAIM TO BE COLLECTING MONEY FOR "DISABLED VETERANS" THIS IS FALSE, MY GRANDMOTHER GOT A CALL FROM A WOMAN CLAIMING TO BE MAKALA AND ONCE MY GRANDMOTHER SAID SHE IS ALREADY HELPING A DISABLED VET THE CALLER IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP ON HER, THIS PROVED SHE WAS AFTER HER MONEY AND NOT TO HELP ANY VETERANS WATCH FOR THIS NUMBER!
