One person on another site reports it is "Account Control Inc" a debt collection agency. They do have a facility in San Angelo, TX.

Ed, what makes it a scam? Did you talk to anyone? Was there a recording? Your post is just a general complaint without any specific info about this number.

3rd scam call today.  Lately, the scam calls come through in 3's.  Is a variety of scams ... credit card, security, car warranty, carpet cleaning etc.  Seems like the numbers tend to be spoofed.  Today's calls came through listed as being from Texas, Florida and Washington.  Nuisance extreme... and the harassment never stops.

I got two random calls from this number on my cell, and they were only a minute apart. I looked it up, and it's a landline in San Angelo, Texas.

Called, I didn't answer, didn't leave message. I get 2 or 3 calls usually every day or night from numbers I don't know, and don't know what they want. Sometimes they leave messages usually about lowering my credit card interest. I don't have any credit cards and if I did I wouldn't do anything with strange companies that call me. I have been on the Do Not Call Registry since it started and occasionally verify I still am. I  used to report calls but nothing seemed to happen and I kept getting them so I gave up. I just don't answer if I don't know who it is, or what they want, and if it's legit about something they can leave a message.
