A male caller called my cellphone stating that he was calling from the Illinois Department of Health to conduct a "survey regarding smokers". He asked if I had any other telephone number where I could be reached. When I told him that I had another landline telephone number that I do not give out, he said, "We are looking for people who only have a cellphone for the survey". The caller was polite, but there was no way to verify if it was a legitimate survey call.

We continue to get calls from this number every day. Hope they give up soon we will never answer the call,

have gotten several calls from this number over the past week. They finally left a message!! Some kind of FEMA survey - they gave me a number to call them back at but she spoke so fast and had such a drawl that I couldnt understand her - even after listening to it 3 times.

I'm on a do not call list. I've never done business with FEMA. THIS IS BULL!!!

So, at first I thought that one of my friends had switched cell phones and was just calling my number to tell me that, since the area code is my area code... But I never answered any of the two or three calls and no one ever texted to ask me why I wasn't answering their calls. This is only the second or third day that this has been happening and already it is VERY frustrating.
I am tempted to answer the phone just to give them a piece of my mind!

I just received a call from them, but I didn't answer.  I have a prepaid cell phone, not sure how they got my #, but I don't answer if I don't know the number.  Is there a cell-phone do not call list?  Is this from that new cc-bill that passed allowing people to spam your cell-phones for "bill collection" purposes?  I am not sure how my number was found.

If it's as dangerous as you say, just don't answer the stupid phone. If you do answer it, then YOU, not the caller, are to blame for anything that might happen.

Trust me, the world will NOT come to an end if you don't answer the phone... Better yet, turn the damned thing off while you're driving.

I answered not sure why but it was health screening questions, nothing too personal. I completed the whole survey and apparently they are going to text me a code for a $10 amazon gift certificate. Funny. But I just want to know where they got my number.

I keep getting calls from 802-861-3488.  They need to stop now!

Have said they are doing surveys for dentistry and next call is about supporting some kids club I've never heard of!!!!

im really getting tired of these half english speaking m*****f*****s calling me day and night at work and asking me to take part in their survey. the one time i answered the person asked me if i drive a car then asked me if i want to set up an appt. i am going to go ape s**t next time they call me.

Same here.  I have gotten calls from this number DAILY for about a week and a half.  And I DO NOT answer calls from numbers I don't know.  If it's important, they'll leave a message.

Just got a call from this number and they left a voicemail that says they are calling to conduct the national health survey and left an 866 number to return the call.  I don't know what this is, but definitely not returning the call.  I am on the Do Not Call list and have recently resubmitted my info to Do Not Call, as I was starting to receive these types of calls on a regular basis.  It is beyond irritating.

I get called at least five times a week.  I have never answered and never will.  But just digging to look at the alien number is irritating.  Grrrrrr.

Called my cell phone 3 times in past 24 hours from this PH#  802-861-3488.  I don't answer ph#'s I don't recognize.

Just received another call from this idiot as I was driving along the Devil's Back Bone. If you know this area then you know you should not be trying to find a cell phone and anwering it as you drive ! I am on the Texas State and the US Govt do not call list . WHY can't these people be stopped !!!!

I've been called by this number 10 times. Yes, I said 10. They won't leave me alone.

Received two (2) calls from this number in the past three days.  Random my foot, I just told them to remove my number from their list!  I am not interested in responding to a survey, even if they are giving a $10 Amazon gift card.
