got this call on a sat night, not normal business hours. called back and got the runaround then said i would get voicemail, which was full. called back today, monday am, and got the same problem. when i answer no one speaks.

Claimed they where from Cox. Offered me a great deal on a STARZ movie channels. I signed up and then nothing happened. I called cox and they claimed they knew nothing about it. Fraud ?? Scam??

Got calls from 330-27-4270 day after day.
They do not leave a message. I'm sick of it!

Got a call at 1:19PM on 08/13/2008. Caller ID said Cox Communications. I answered it but could only hear typing in the background.

Call answered about 6:00pm They said they were calling all customers on behalf of Cox Communications and wanted to know if I was interested in switching to their phone service. Cox Communications also sends out at least two pieces of mail to my address every week soliciting me for their stupid phone service!

they called my house and i never pick up an unknown number so i let the machine get it and they left a message of just breathing then they hung up

I keep getting calls from this number and I have called the number back everytime to see who it is, only to be directed by an automated voice to some voice mail box. Finally this last time, I got a real person and it was from my cable company, Cox, and they are trying to sell me phone service. I have a feeling its more companies than just that one.

I have been getting calls from this number for over a week now, sometimes 5 or 6 times a day. I don't answer calls that I don't know. They never leave a message either.

We called Cox Communications and said we wanted to report a complaint. They immediately transferred our call to Steven King. His email is steven.king@cox.com. Email him the amount of times these people call your house per day so Cox can understand what we go through as their valued customers. Share the wealth is what I always say...

We've been called relentlessly by this number. Caller ID shows as Akron, OH. We finally answered to find it was *EFFING* Cox Communications. We are customers ALREADY but not for long. This is poor customer service to say the least. We are shelling out over $130 a month for our bill so they can hire telemarketers to call us for an upgrade. WHO THE HELL GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO HARRASS THEIR CUSTOMERS?!
My advice to you go VERIZON FIOS!

Constantly calls but I always miss it so I can't yell at them. When I look it up, it says the number is from Akron, Ohio. I've also found that it may be linked to a Cox Communications promotion.

The company name is "Timberline somethingorother"
THey call on behalf of other companies (in my case, Cox communications) and the y are for media promotions.

This number has called me at least 10 times since November 5. I never answer, and they never leave a message. Until Saturday, the 24th, they hadn't called for 8 days, and I figured they had given up. Wrong.
