I keep getting phone calls from 916-287-3958 stating that I have voilated a federal law and I am going to be arrested.  I explained that I thought they were full of it and he went on to explain that he would be contacting my work place tomorrow to explain that I would be going to jail.  I said "ok" and hung up the phone.  This is the 5th call I have received from this "place" and want it to stop.  Please help me!

I got a call from Jack Thomas who claims he is from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. He also had the number re-routed so that it appeared to come from the police department. I have spoken to the sheriff's office in Mecklenburg County and they do not know Jack Thomas. They do not have a warrant for my arrest. He talked to my boss and my boss said that it sounded like it was coming from the same call center in India. FRAUD!!!

This person Office Justin Miller with a thick indian accent  they have called my job and my personal line several times(4-8) and saying if i dont send a payment its going against there wishes and that also they will have my case "downloaded" to the local authorities and have me arrested etc. What should i do??

They called me about amonth ago saying that they are with the Federal Crime Divison--They gave two of the names Shawn Martin and Sare Marica(she used a badge #002) and that I owe for a payday loan But wouldnt give the information when I asked them the Company name..I then recieved a call from them again on Feb 16the I talked to them and told them That I would not have a phone after the 18th of feb..So now for the past week they have been calling my work place leaving messages and stating that they are with the Federal Crime Divison and that they have a legal complaint on me and wants me to call them back at these 2 #'s 330-271-2027 & 503-207-6120(which not in service) So icalled the 1 # today and told to quit calling my work place cuz it is illegal to call work places and leaving harrassing messages and they just hing up on me

I got calls from these guys and I got frightened.  I am foolish too.  In my fright I gave them money, so they would leave me alone.  They said I owe money on payday loans.  I am calling the FBI on these guys.

I received a call from Officer Jack Thomas today.  The area code for Colorado is 303.  330 is for the state of Ohio. To give everyone ease in regards to this scam both the F B I and the F T C have been notified and I now have satellite link to trace call.  I will place updates on this bulletin board as they occur.

I have got 2 of these call saying they are law inforcement,I ask him for a badge number and ID and he said he couldnt give it.I told him to call my local police department and give them the info. if it was real.The thing is they are scamming me!!!

Igot a call from this phone they were saying they are a cop and he is a federal and they are coming to put me in jail and I will lose my job  They even called me at work and I dont know what they are talking about

These are definitely scams. They are committing a federal "wire fraud" "internet fraud" violation by using an interstate communication facility. You can send complaints to the Internet Fraud complaint center at www.ic3.gov.  They phones are probably routed from overseas through a domestic number putting them outside of the US Govt. Jurisdiction.  Many states have phone harassment violations on the books. Call you local law enforcement as well.

Got the same message that it wasOfficer Justin Miller, sounding like some ghandi punk. Saying that I have 3 outstanding Legal Allegations against my social. And that if I did not return the call that they would issue a warrant for my arrest resulting in kail time of 8-9 months. Then when I called the number back it never rings, just hangs up. So on the 4th call I answered it and told him that I didn't believe him and that if he didn't stop calling my job I was going to hunt him down. He responded by saying " oh you don't believe me, well we will see you at 4 o'clock" and then he hung up.
All you have to do is scare them back, and they will leave you alone. Especially if you know that you do not owe anything, or that you are not in default of anything.

These people have been calling my work for over a year now. They use the names like David Jones, Jon Matthews and Daniel Carter. They called today and his name was Leo Thomas. They have a very heavy indian accent. I called the number back and it's not a working number and when I white paged it it is a cell phone from Ohio. A Sgt wouldn't call from a cell phone telling you to call a different Officer. Scam!

These people continuely call my work. They are obviously scammers. I tried calling this number back and it's not longer a working number. How convienient.

I have been receiving calls from this number and they say they are from the Federal Crime Division, Legal Dept.  I return the call and start to ask questions about who they are and all they will say is that they are "downloading this case" under my social and I will be jailed for 8 to 9 months.   When I ask for proof of my so called "debt", they hand up on my.  I need to know how to stop these calls.  They call my work number.   On another call when I asked for their company name and if they were a collection agency, they hung up on me.

got  a call from that number, saying his name is sergeant robert marshall, and i will be going to jail at 430 today, so i gave my lawyer the number. so that he can call them up

Someone please help me stop these people from harrassing my dad at work...They say he owes for a payday loan of 500...and he needs to pay 2800.. to stay out of jail.
His work is giving him a hard time because they keep calling him there and my dad has already told the man he doesn't know what he is talking about.
He then told my dad's boss that he is going to have my dad arrested by 4:00 if he does not pay 2800.

I got a call from the same Jack Thomas, when I warned him he was dealing with someone with a legal background, he started quote Californa statues to me and I informed him it is illegal to pose as a law enforcement officer. I asked for his badge number he got his nuts in a twist called me a son of a bi***, so i started calling back redial redial over and over and he wouldn't talk to me anymore, the number is actually a cell phone traced it to Lisbon , Ohio but 330 is a colorado area code.

I dont know who they are but they call me 5 -6 times a day threatening me.  So i called them back pretending to be my own attorney and told them i was recording the call and would be turning it over to the local authorities and he called me a white w***e and hung up.   I'm not sure who to report these people to.  They call from different numbers.
