Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

They have taken 400 dollars from me is this a scam im trying to settle a payday loan debt and have made my scheduled payments in the amount of of 5 100 scheduled payments i hope i have not been scammed

I received a call from them saying I was going to be subpoenaed amd that they would come to my school with a uniformed officer so I made a payment arrangement with them. I tried to call the number this morning and it said it was not in service so I googled the company and it is apparently a scam!

I was contacted and talked with a man named Brandon Charles

He took info from me and made up a contract to pay them 500.00 and they would accept the debt paid.
I paid them 100.00 off of a pre paid debit card.

It is a bill collector posing as some big bad law office.  They threaten litigation and they threaten to call your job...they also threaten to take out a restraining order which is just stupid LOL.  I tell these people they have the wrong number yet they are so stupid that they keep calling.  If you have the wrong number how are you going to collect on the debt??  Idiots.

This person knows your social and kids names and there birthdays and even your social security number, I never got a loan and they are tellingly I owe 1,350$ to a payday loan company ( which I never do) and said I am going to be sued if I don't pay the money in full as well as they have my address. I'm freaking out
