got a text from this caller as well, how do they get our numbers? don't like this at all!!!

Scam of some sort, I am sure.  I have received 2 messages that say 'hi, Angela'.
Then, either nothing or 'opps my Iphone 's goin to die :(

I don't know what that is, and there is no response to return text asking who it is.

Got the same crappy text... I make make a habbit of not sharing my number.  not sure how they got it.

I got one Sunday night at 7:30pm, when I texted it back asking who it was, they responded: "lol if you want to know who this is you got to add me on yahoo msger. My name is textwoman434" I don't use yahoo, and I don't give my number to just anyone. How do they get our name and number?

I got a call last night at 8:11 saying ?Hola Belva....?  Who is this caller?

I just got the same text saying  "hey Derrick??"

got txt  saying "hi, (my name)...." from the above number.  when i called it from my land line, i heard,
"hi, you got a text from someone's text -plus number; to reach them, return the text.  to get your own text plus number, go to textplus.com."

no one i know has to use that service.  

i believe it was just phishing to see if mine was an active cel number.
