File a complaint with the FTC for every time they call...it is illegal even if they represent a non profit.  THis time it was AM Heart ASSOC.  But they keep like 75% of whaT THEY collect, so go forth and screw them...put them out of business....

Just got a call at about 7:00pm on a Saturday. There was music playing, I just hung-up.

OK Here's the scoop on these incessant calls from 330-479-0000,0003,0004 and 0006. It is a fund raising company, out of Canton, OH named UniVision. The March of Dimes has contracted with them to raise donations for the MOD (a wonderful organization).Univision insists they do not call after 9pm (false!) or on Sundays (false again) and if there is no answer they go on the the next number. I personally have received in excess of 20 calls! and like you, they don't leave a message, I can't call them back OR they hang up the second you answer. So Here's what to do:
Call the March of Dimes Hdqtrs in White Plains NY 914-428-7100 ask for fund raising dept and inform them that this Univision Company is tarnishing their good image by their guerilla marketing strategies. I informed MOD hdqtrs this am that my family has given to the March of Dimes for generations, however unless or until they sever their relationship with UniVision, we will not contribute to MOD again.
So Call and relay your experience(s) to Director of Fundraising for MOD.
They NEED to know!

Started getting calls from 330-479-0003 approx 2 weeks ago, then from 0005 then 0006 and today 2X from 0000. We are on every NO Call list available and no we don't have any small medical bills that are past due.
Calls occur on Sunday mornings or past 9pm at night....and like everyone else they hang up regardless of what ring # OR fail to leave a message if left unattended. Any idea how how we can band together a get these harrasing calls to STOP?!

Do any of you have small medical bills that haven't been paid?  I believe this number is one of several used by Argent Healthcare (Health Care?).  They are a collection agency specializing in medical providers.  They have their own phone number which shows up on caller I.D., but when I don't pick up for them, I get a call from one of the 330-479-000whatever numbers.  It's happened too often to be coincidental.  Check out Argent's website.  (I forgot the addy, but I got it from google.)  They boast that they will go after small debts, too, not just the big ones and praise their staff for their relentless campaigns to get the money.  If you do not have any medical bills, I suggest you check your credit report.  I had someone using my SS number in a Tampa, FL, hospital recently and have had my mothers medical bills show up on my credit report.  I'm pretty sure this has got to be Argent.

They just called my after hours ON-Call Phone. 01, and 03 were the last digits of both numbers. It's going to make me scream if they call as I am in bed tonight.

They Call all day long and even weekends, mornings. I want it stopped!

Left no message..Was on caller ID. I called it back...'Twas not a working number.

Annoying.  4 calls;4 rings. Disconnect.  Repeat call.  7:35 to 7:55 pm.

Nov. 23 Same as the rest. Phone calls from this number all morning, if it is answered, they hang up.

Sorry, somehow my post says the call came in a few seconds ago.  That's not true.  It came at 5:21 pm.

I answered and a female with an unfamiliar accent said something, I don't know what, and hung up.

Caller phoned, said "hello" and hung up after the caller realized my answering machine was taking the call.
