I get call 3 times a day it comes in as unknown I hang up and the phones rings
again with this number 330-479-0010

I had aggreed to to ask my neighbors for contrabutions for the lung association, then I have been getting calls from the heart assoc etc. My phone starts ringing at 8:30 am. I have called the lung assoc back and told them I am dissatisified and I am going to return all the contrbutions back to the neighbors. See what being a nice guy does. I blocked the first number 330-479-0010, today I am getting calls from 330-479-0009. I am calling the federal number 888-225-5322 to report this. I am on a do not call list.
If my phone is called at 8:30 am that means they are calling me at 7:30 am which is totally wrong. This is a dailly event

Multiple calls from 330-479-0010 (and 330-479-0001, 0002).  When you call back, it indicates that the number has been disconnected.
I am confident that the callers are homosexual pigmies and trying some type of scam.

They call At 8:30am each time. They never leave a message. when I call back It has been disconnected, and it has. This number was the nunber for the Stark county library in OHIO. They had to change there number because some how these people was using there info on the caller ID. I know this because I looked up the libray and called them.

These type of calls are usually to verify that they have reached an active phone number for future telemarketers to call.  As long as the number connects, they are successful in finding an active phone number, which in turn can be used by other idiots.  The fact that you're on the DNC list doesn't matter because there's no conversation.

received 9/20 at 12:27 pm - didn't answer, didn't leave message.  I just called the number and said it has been disconnected.

Received a call from this number on 2/04/08 after 8:00pm in the evening. Did not pick up and they did not leave message.

RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AT 10:06 A.M. TODAY. NO MESSAGE LEFT.

I received a call from 330-479-0009 this morning 2/5/2008 at 8:33 AM it registered as an Unknown Name. I received another call yesterday 2/4/08 at 5:22 PM from 330-479-0010 with the same identifier Unknown Name.

Also receive this every day and night and hour off from you guys but I am on EST, so makes sense.  I work from home and my home number is my emergency FAX number so it's annoying.  I called the number just today 1/31/08 and got the "diconnected" record speech.  Good luck to whoever finally gets this to stop.  Oh and I have DoNot Call on all my phones and it's up to date.

I GET THE FIRST CALL EVERY DAY AT 8:30 AM NO ONE WILL TALK. THEY CALL EVERY DAY.

I've been getting calls from 1-330-479-0010 for the past week. A recorded voice says, "We have an important call for you, plase hold." Then no one ever answers.  The caller ID indicates "Unknown Name".  When I called this number I got the recorded message that "this number has been disconnected.  No further information is available about 330-479-0010."

Did not leave message.  Also, have gotten calls from 330-479-0002 and 330-479-0011, no messages left.

"330-479-0010" received several calls in a few days, rings three times, then hangs up. Two times my ID says "Out of Area" and gives no number.  When I call back says its been disconnected. Glad there are other reports.

Get this call several times each day.

330-479-0002 - We have received 3-4 calls from this number a day for several weeks.  Call ID shows "unknown."  When you call the number back, you get a message saying "it has been disconnected.

I've been getting calls from 330-479-0010 for the past week and no one ever answers when I pick up nor will they leave a message.  Today I rec'd three calls from 330-479-0011, the last at 6:02 PM and I picked up on the 3rd ring and no one answered.  The caller ID indicates "Unavailable".  When I called this number I got the automatic voice mail that "this number has been disconnected".

This number in addition to occasionally using the number 330-479-0008 has rang my phone 5 to 10 times daily.. sometimes back to back. No one will answer or leave a voice mail.  I tried returning the call but I get an automated recording that each of these numbers have been disconnected!  How can that be??  The number had just called me.  I have been registered for years on the DO NOT call list and this is really making me angry!  I will attempt to find out how to complain against and block these numbers

Hope it gets remedied soon.  I received a call from the same number and it is still saying Stark City Dist on caller I.D.

1-330-479-0010 calls me up, i missed the call returned it and got the message "this number,  1-330-479-0010, has been disconnected" ...
so i punched it in online and ended up here.

I want everyone to know that this is a scam by someone other than the posted caller.  My phone number is 330-479-0009 and I have been having the same problem since November, 2006.  I refuse to give in like everyone else and simply change my phone number, however, I receive 30 calls daily from people all over the country who claim to have received phone calls from me.  I can assure you that we are NOT making these phone calls and we are victims too.  It is very frustrating and I have notified both the phone company and the local P.D.  The phone company is trying to figure our who has stolen my phone number (and others in the same series), but since it doesn't come from our equipment, they can't trace it back.  The local P.D. has done nothing to assist me.  It is almost like a matter of stolen identity and we are the ones who appear to be the culprit/annoyer and it is NOT us!!!!   What you can do to help is to report the phone number to your phone company and ask them to run a trace on it to see where it originates.  Maybe we can catch these people and make it stop.  Thank you.

My phone number is 330-479-0009 and I have been having similar problems since November, 2006.  I have even spoken with someone from the library before because I knew it was happening to you also.  I have been trying to get this resolved, to no avail. The phone company has not been able to help and the local P.D. has been useless.  I am curious how you determined it was coming from a local Call Center.  I really wish to nail these people and not be forced to change my phone number.  Any information you can give me would help immensely.

just got a call from this number but didn't answer it. no message left.

This phone number was in use by the Stark County District Library, but we were not making these calls.  We found out that a local Outbound Call Center was putting this number in their system as the Caller ID to be used for call backs.  We contacted the Call Center and the problem went away for a while, but resurfaced again a few weeks later. We don't know if this was an "unintentional error" or intentionally done for some reason.  We have terminated this number as of 9/21/2007 and converted the line to another phone number.
