This number calls at random hours of the night and day harassing me constantly, in a message or when I pick up. And when I call back it says "Number not in service," but they can somehow reach ME.

The exact same thing has happened to me as John describes in his post. They don't give up. No message and when you call back, it states the number is not in service.

Funny too about the magazine subscription company......I also got calls from them with no message left. In the past month, I've gotten about 4 magazines in my mail at home that I never ever ordered. It sounds like another scam to me.

you need to call the magazine companies find out who set up the account and cancel the subscription if not you will be charged. you need to do this as soon as possible

This number has called several times and when I pick up no one is there. If I try to call it back it says the number is disconnected, they must only have outgoing calls. I had similar calls from several companies a month ago and they turned out to be readers service, some company pestering people with magazine subscription discounts, so Im wondering if its not the same type of thing.

They called me three days in a row.  I just picked up on them.  They claim to be a credit company and that my magazine subscriptions are going to end prematurely.  I asked them which magazines and they listed a whole bunch, most of which I don't have subscriptions for.  They did not want money or payment just my personal information.  I told them that I was too busy preparing for my next trial as I am an attorney and they hung up.

Same as everyone else.  Has anyone left their number?  I on the DNC list so I thought that was already covered and am a little bit scared to leave the message...  I did file a report as well.

This number keeps calling my cell but does not leave a message.  When I do answer they hang up.  I just filed a complaing with the FTC as well.

Called my house line - said they were letting me know that my subscription will continue at $2.99 per week for 60 months, but couldn't tell me what subscription it was for (?), just a subscription.  They asked for me by name but I don't know how they got the number - it's registered in my girlfriends name (different last name) and we use the house line so infrequently I don't even know what it is, so I couldn't give it out if I wanted too.  When I pressed for answers they hung up.

Caller asks for me by name, and when I reply this is he, he hangs up without identifying himself... calls 3 times a week

I've been getting these nuisance calls from this number for a week, several calls a day. I just filed an FTC complaint against them. I'm on the DNC list and they aren't leaving messages or identifying themselves as bill collectors, a non-profit charity, or a political party so I am assuming they are a telemarketer.

Keep getting calls from this number, finally decided to answer today.  They asked for my "fake" name that I use when I sign up on websites for freebies, coupons, etc.  They didn't say what company they were with.

I just called the number back and it said to leave a message with my phone number so they can take you off their do not call list.  I didn't leave my number.  Hopefully they will get the hint to stop calling when I don't answer the phone.

I, like the others who have commented, have been receiving calls from this number a couple of times a day for the last few days now. I have encountered the same thing - if I answer no one is there, if they go to v.m. they don?t leave a message, and when I call the number back it states that I can give them my # and the calls will stop. I have always been a skeptic on recording like this so I hung up and didn?t give them my number

This is not a collection agency. I just tried calling the number again and now I get a message saying if you want to be removed from the calling list leave a message with the number you were called on and it will be removed in 48 to 72 hours so it must be some sort of telemarketer.

I have been getting call from this number asking for a kevin somebody.. I tell them there is no kevin here this is not his number to stop calling they have hung up or do not respond.. I am guessing its a scum credit collection agency trying to find someone that owes money to some where and they guess if they call the number enough time he will answer,, guess what scum bags he don't exist at least on this phone.. so go screw your self.. we know you read this place to see if anyone has a lead on your phone number so you can change it again.. you are just like the terrorists that flew planes into the World Trade centers,, cowards,, afraid to show your self.. we need to call our congress person, senate person and make them pass legislation that would require all credit collection agency's maintain good numbers we can call back to request the phone number be removed from a calling list, especially when they (the scum credit collectors) are calling the WRONG phone number..

I called the number and it says it is disconnected and no longer in service... but they seems to call from that number on my cell about 2 times day for the past 2 days.... I answered and they hung up...

Have called 3 days in a row but don't leave a message.
