WE ARE A BUSY TRANSPORTATION COMPANY AND THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING ON OUR RESERVATION LINES AND WHEN WE ANSWER THE LINE THEY HANG UP.  OUR BUSINESS DEPENDS UPON OUR CLIENTS BEING ABLE TO GET THROUGH IN ORDER TO MAKE RESERVATIONS AND THIS IS TYING UP OUR LINES.  HOW DO WE FIND OUT WHO THEY ARE, WHY THEY ARE CALLING AND HOW TO GET THEM TO STOP?

I did recieve  the first call on Thursday,the caller hang after  6 seconds ,then  they call again on Saturday,when I called back it was a message about (Sterling Jewelery) . It is really silly and annoying,because phones are not means of bothering people like this.

It is Jared the Galleria of Jewelry, or a similar jewelry store, calling for a past due payment (can be as little as a few days late). For those of you that have never done business with Jared, know that if someone you know listed you as a reference on their credit application, they will call you trying to contact the person with the store credit card. They call from all different numbers and area codes. These collection companies are blatantly violating the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) by calling a dozen times a day or more, and by calling people at work when they have requested that they do not do this, and by calling early in the morning and late at night. If you do choose to talk to them, you can tell them which two days of the week are inconvenient for you (your days off work) and they shouldn't call you on those days. I am going to report them. Read about the FDCPA and know your rights so you can protect yourself.

I get calls from this number at least seven or eight times a day. the message once left on my cell phone said it was a jeweler I never ever did business with any jeweler for 30 years.How do I get them to stop?It is very annoying, how do they get my number?

That is illegal, if they continue I would suggest you try to record yourself telling them specifically that they do not have your permission to call you as it puts your job at risk.  Tell them to cease all means of telephone communication with you and to only contact you via post mail.  if they continue, you can sue them for harassment.

I made a payment on Friday and was three days late..This nice girl called but on
sunday, I didnt  have time to tell her no calls on the weekends.

Now these people are calling on the weekends, is that legal?

i have the same calls. i already made my payment today online and they still keep calling. i don't think they even looked at my account to see that i made the payment. it is BS!!!!

I keep getting calls too over and over from different numbers, and when I decide to answer they don't say anything it is Super annoying!!

BTW according the fair debt collection act, they are not allowed to call before 8 am and 9 pm. So if it happens to you make sure you tell them that. Also if you look up the rules they are also not allowed to call you at inconvenient places (work) especially if you tell them. And they are not allowed to be annoying well i think that calling that many times is!!!

I have asked to not be called at work as this is a problem with my boss. Yet they continue to call with different numbers this was the latest. STOP calling me I will not answer.

I know, it's annoying, and even after you have called and told them when you would make the payment they still continue to call.

They call at least 3 times a day, often before 8am and after 8pm, and don't say a word when I answer! I get it; my payment is late! But what the #@^% does calling me multiple times a day from 3 different numbers, and then not saying anything or leaving any messages accomplish?!! It's harrassment!
