the caller didnt answer me when I said hello ...I hung on for 30 sec. then it disconnected

Because it was a local area code I answered it.  It was a call from an after factory warranty company telling me our warranty for our cars had expired. I told her she was not allowed to call me as I've never done business with them (didn't catch their name, but I've never done business with an after factory warranty company).  She tried to tell me that I was supposed to re-register my number in January 2013 or I could be called by anyone.  Obviously that's not true.

Rude then hung up. when I  called back I was put on hold for 10 minutes.
