Same thing.  No message.
Diamondback Pro is a brand of bicycle a friend of mine has owned for years.  She's selling hers, but I've never owned one and we've never been in a bicycle store together.

I did not pick up the phone, which I usually do not do anymore, unless I recognize whoever it is from Caller ID, (somewhat hampers business, since I work from the number that is being called). The caller ID said Diamondback Pro and the number was the one listed above. I too am on the Do Not Call Registry and shudder to think how many more of these I would get, if I were not. I appreciate the information from the other callers above.

I am on the Do Not Call List and I still keep getting calls at all hours of the day and night from companies who want to fix my credit card interest rate or fix my mortgage interest rate.  I don't want help with either of these things and wouldn't work with someone who called me out of the blue to begin with.   How do you stop them from calling?

What is the point of a do not call list and yet they still call me!

Same speil as the March 1st report - caller ID is Diamondback Pro.  Same offer.......  reduce my mortgage except that I don't have one but I wanted to talk to the person so hit #9 as directed and got nothing but a repeated message saying "You may hear a click and some silence but don't hang up." Call came in at 8:39 p.m.  Such scum........

Thank you for the information on the scam and the use of the toss-able or stolen phone numbers.  Always good to know.  I will call a local detective here.

These calls come from Ran David Barnea of Boca Raton Florida whose scam loan companies leave false numbers on caller id's so that they cannot be traced.  They use new numbers every day and like to use numbers from outside the US.  The number on your caller id is totally false and this is the loophole used to eevade the Do Not Call List.  Do a google search on the guy and you will quickly see what has been going on for years.

Telemarketer
Received recording offering to reduce my mortgage rate (I don't have a mortgage) and to press 9 to speak with someone.  A man came on and identified his company as Proficio Mortgage and claimed he was in Long Island, NY.  When I asked if his company was registered with the NY Secretary of State Office, he hung up.

In doing some online research I found that area code 410 is in Maryland and the number may be a cell phone.  I tried calling the number but of course it was not a working number.  There is a Proficio Mortgage Ventures doing business out of Orlando, FL.  No doubt this call was some sort of scam.  I've filed the usual complaint with the Do Not Call Registry, not that anything is ever done.
